Gaudere Ristorante — Restaurant in Rome

We recently finished an incredible trip around Italy and spent our last night staying in Fiumicino before an early morning flight from Rome airport. We weren’t expecting much from a quick overnight stop, but this new restaurant completely surprised and delighted us — it ended up being one of our most memorable meals of the trip!

From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed like family. The staff was exceptionally warm, friendly, and attentive. The owner personally came over to greet us, and you could feel how much passion and care they put into their work. Even though we didn’t have a reservation for a tasting menu, they offered to customize one for us — and it was spectacular. Each dish showcased fresh, inventive flavors with a focus on seafood.

Highlights included a bright and perfectly balanced ricotta lemon risotto topped with oysters, fresh pastas cooked al dente with creative, delicate sauces, and perfectly prepared fish. The homemade bread was so good we couldn’t stop eating it, and of course, the Negroni was spot-on.

It wasn’t just the food that stood out — it was the experience. The staff made us feel like guests at their home, not just customers..

We ate at Gaudere at the very end of our trip to Italy, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. The staff made us feel truly special—welcoming us warmly with a glass of prosecco as soon as we arrived. The service throughout the meal was excellent, and the food was absolutely delicious. Nuovo ristorante zona Torrino Mezzocammino. Sono stata con le mie amiche per un apericena: tagliere di affettati e tagliere di formaggi di altissima qualità. Selezione di formaggi e salumi assolutamente non basici e classici come di norma nella maggior parte dei locali. Cartoccio di pizza fritta al nero di seppia ECCELLENTE, piccoli panini con spigola e salse in riduzione scelte e preparate dallo schef, assolutamente deliziose. Fettine di pane casareccio integrale con mozzarella le alici freschissime, panini bauzi con salmone e salse dello chef. Accompagnati a scelta da prosecco o cocktail preparati alla perfezione. Personale giovane, educato, professionale e gentilissimo. La proprietaria Marzia, davvero persona squisita e che accoglie la clientela con un sorriso che già a primo impatto, ti fa sentire a casa. Location molto elegante e dai dettagli ricercati per, rendere l' atmosfera del locale, super accogliente. Lo consiglio sia per un aperitivo, sia, visionando il menu per un ottima serata in famiglia, con amici ma anche per cene di lavoro o per comunioni e ricorrenze familiari.
