Il Forte caffè e cucina — Restaurant in Rome

We went there to try it for the first time, from outside it looked very pleasant, and it is for the aesthetic, but the service was really bad, not attentive considering there were only few other people beside us and three waitresses. My friend ordered a bacon burger, I ordered a poke with salmon, few drinks and chips. The burger was just not it, presented badly with no sides and barely any bacon, the meat was overcooked and the bread was too hard. The poke was basically some salad lettuce with few tomatoes slapped on it and few slices of salmon, a tear drop of sauce no condiments, not they brought or asked if we needed any. The chips were packet chips like. Very bad, I never experienced a low quality service like this before in my whole life, the main disappointment however was the response of the waitresses once presented with the complaint. They became hostile and quite rude, they didn’t even gave us the water we paid for, I had to go back inside and asked them about it , which then they gave me the refund of €2 for it, the attitude was just not it. I strongly do not reccomend this place, overpriced for no reason, rude and the food was very bad. Customers are what makes a business successful and it’s important to consider complaints, they don’t seem to care. Don’t waste your money, stay at home and make yourself a nice meal or spend it somewhere else. It’s such a shame because it had potential. The best Food and the best Drinks. We were a Group of three tourists and fortunately saw this place. The good smell of Barbecue was a first good sign. The waiters and the chef… I mean the whole team is so nice and professional. They take care of everything and the size of the meals is incredible. They made our whole vacations and put the bar high on top for the following days. I would recommend this to everyone for real. The drinks are a lil bit special because the barkeeper combined different cultures and gives the drink a new character. Per anni ho passato davanti a "Il Forte" senza mai entrare, ma finalmente ho deciso di provare. La sorpresa è stata davvero piacevole! Il locale è accogliente, con un’atmosfera rilassata e curata che invita a fermarsi.

Il servizio è impeccabile: il personale è cordiale, attento e veloce. Un capitolo a parte merita la focaccia calda, semplicemente straordinaria, uno di quei dettagli che fanno la differenza e ti fanno desiderare di tornare presto.

È il luogo ideale per staccare la mente dopo una lunga giornata di lavoro, sorseggiando un buon bicchiere di vino e godendosi l’ambiente sereno. La clientela, composta da persone educate e rispettose, contribuisce a rendere il tempo trascorso qui ancora più gradevole.

"Il Forte" è molto più di un locale, è un punto di ritrovo dove ci si sente subito a casa....
