La Pariolina — Restaurant in Rome

I don’t know if we got screwed because we were tourists or if the prices are just high, but 4 pizza, 4 beers and 2 apps and we paid €109 euros. That seemed really high for an outskirts neighborhood pizza joint. The pizza wasn’t bad, though. The only thing, and this wasn’t their fault, was that she took our plates away (3 of them with half a pizza on it) and didn’t ask if we wanted to take it with us. Half because of language barrier and half because we didn’t know if it was tacky to ask for a doggy bag, we didn’t say anything. But with plates so full, it would have been nice if...

One of the best restaurant around Parioli regarding to cost/quality. Even though the pizza they make can't be said as the best of Roma ( since in Italy there is a lot of competition on pizza ), I can say it is really good. Also one thing I love even more is there unlimited buffet for 12.5€, every plate they serve in the buffet is made as if it is a la cart. Considering the price they give way more quality stuff than expected. Maybe just because it's in Parioli :) p.s: heard that the desserts are great there but never...

Super nice staff. They have ice and it is refreshing to have a Coke that tastes the way it should especially when it is August! I personally enjoy their classic pizza margherita without the fancy cheeses and variations Italians are trying to change it to. This place still serves it the classic way and I am satisfied to enjoy it as such. We also had the fritti misti. A supplì, small mozzarella nuggets, fiore di zucca, a crocchetta di patate ( puree of potatoes fried) and another rice ball with vegetables. All very good...
