Lento Vineria con Cucina — Restaurant in Rome

My girlfriend and I visited Rome back in november for a few days. This was our last stop before heading back to London. We arrived quite late on sunday afternoon, the owners were super accommodating and never let us felt rushed throughout the whole experience. Ottime le materie prime dei piatti proposti, accogliente l'ambiente e gentile il servizio. Avrebbe meritato le 5 stelle se solo la scelta del vino avesse rispettato il resto dell'offerta. D'altronde è una vineria (con cucina), motivo per il quale mi aspettavo molto di più dalla carta dei vini che, senza un ordine o suddivisione di alcun tipo (tipologia, alfabeto, regione.. niente!), risulta illeggibile generando solo confusione. Non potendo scegliere nulla in autonomia, ci siamo quindi affidati al sommelier e mi spiace dire che il risultato è stato disastroso, con una Barbera emiliana talmente surmacerata da risultare quasi imbevibile (scarsa la scusa del 'vino naturale' che non giustifica né l'esagerata acidità, tantomeno i 31€) e un Dolcetto d'Alba, non male come la Barbera ma che di 'eccellenza e esclusività' aveva solo il prezzo, 42€ più che immeritati per un vino davvero modesto. Peccato, 4 stelle vanno per la fiducia, sperando in un restyling profondo dell'offerta in cantina, così da avvicinarla alla qualità del cibo. Da riprovare, ma solo quando avrò smaltito l'odore sgradevole di vernice/acetone di quella Barbera, davvero impossibile...
