We were in a group of 5, and the restaurant was quiet, very few people, and it wasn't anywhere near close time.
They asked us if we wanted water, we said no, they put two jars on our table and we decided to pay for it anyway.
2 people ordered bread for starters and we ordered our food. It took around one HOUR to arrive, and only for 4 of us. We asked for my husband's dish, nothing. We asked for my husband's dish again, then it came, but only when everybody else finished eating.
When the bill came, there were 3 Focaccia (we ordered 2). We asked them to add a coke that was missing and to remove the extra Focaccia they added. They came back with the bill with only the coke added.
When we said something about the Focaccia again, the server said they put bigger plates to serve 5 people. We said we never asked for it. The girl that was serving another table screamed that we had to pay for 3.
We were already paying for 2 bottles of water (€5) and we asked to add the coke to the bill, and they were treating us like we were trying to rob the restaurant. In the end, they fixed the the bill, but we left there regretting we ever went there.
The owner was nice to us, so please, if you want your business to go well, find better staff.
Summary: you have to say everything twice, and they'll get angry at you. Add an extra hour to wait for anything...
Read moreFirst of, I want to make something clear: A lot of comments state that service is unfriendly/bad to foreigners, but that's absolutely NOT true! I don't speak a single word Italian, but the waiter was EXTREMELY friendly, brought us the menu and without any hesitation helped us with the choice of our meals (translated/described it to us). We got excellent recommendations from him and really enjoyed our time there! Conclusion: Very delicious food, nice and charming ambient, friendly service and fair prices. I absolutely recommend this place, even (or especially) to non-Italians (in order to experience real...
Read moreDo not go!!! Horrible service, if you are American they will ignore you and treat you like you don’t exist. This restaurant was recommended by an Italian friend. We showed up and they acted like they did not want to serve us. An Italian family showed up right after us and they greeted them with kisses and sat them immediately while they told us they didn’t have a table for us even though we were the same size party as the Italians that showed up after us. Rude, cold food if you even get your food. Don’t recommend at all. Don’t...
