Magna Pizza — Restaurant in Rome

Tasty, cheap and authentic taglio. If you’re in the neighbourhood I wouldn’t overlook it. We were staying at an Airbnb around the corner and we waited 3 nights before trying it because of the sort of tacky look it had on the outside. It took us 3 nights to understand that these neon-coated pizzerias ARE the most authentic pizza places! I’m so sad we waited. Sunday nights are super busy of course, being the traditional time most Italians and romans get pizza to eat with their families. But you take a number and all of the servers behind the counter were super patient and helpful with us. If you want to try something other than pizza, get the « Spuli » or arrancini. The nduja one is spicy sausage-y heaven! Will definitely be back even if I don’t stay in this neighbourhood next time because it's right next to a metro station and...

Very good stop for a quick bite! This was the first place I visited in Rome after reading reviews and I wasn't disappointed. I ordered several Pizza slices, each was unique and delicious, unlike anything I'd eaten in London. The staff working behind the tills were friendly, which I wasn't expecting because the restaurant was so busy and I speak no Italian! If you're in Rome this is the perfect place to grab lunch. Our hotel concierge suggested we go here for pizza. It was excellent. Apparently this is where the locals come for their slice of pizza so you know it has to be good. Simone spoke enough English to be very helpful. He had a great personality. The pizza was really good. We'll come back Sun evening before flying back to the States.
