A hidden gem in Rome: from exquisite appetizers to the extraordinary Carbonara that lets you take off to a gastronomic journey. It was supposed to be just a lunch that turned into a true satisfaction. We tried: -Slightly toasted bruschetta with burrata cheese, puntarelle marinated in oil, garlic and balsamic vinegar, with a few slices of anchovies on the top - amazingly interesting blend of tender burrata, fresh and juicy puntarelle with a savory finish of anchovies on the top. -Carbonara - probably one of the best in Rome. So delicate, tender, and creamy virtues that leave you speechless, and let your palate experience a true pleasure. Crunchy guanciale adds the right notes to that symphony. -Desert - made me cry…of pleasure, of course ;). Thin and crusty puff pastry gently enveloping a hot baked apple stuffed with delicious custard cream. As simple and gorgeous as it. As a nice and little bounty from the osteria, we were offered a bottle of Vecchio Amaro del Capo to accompany our dessert that made the perfect ending of the meal. All accompanied with a bottle of a good classical Montepulciano. Special thanks to the entire personnel of the Osteria for making us feel like at home with a kind, professional and well-mannered service. Happy to see how your family business grows and carries on the history behind the place. Very calm, peaceful, friendly and positive atmosphere that allows to relax and enjoy your meal even in the busiest time of the day. What can I add? Simply visit this place and you will understand :)

Osteria Sette offers a beautiful, thoughtfully designed space with very good food at a great price point—a winning combination for anyone looking to enjoy a solid meal in Rome without overspending. Most of the dishes were well-executed, but the porchetta was a bit dry, which was disappointing given how flavorful everything else was. The biggest drawback was the service, which felt somewhat rushed and disorganized. Dishes were brought out before we had finished the previous course, which threw off the rhythm of the meal and made it feel a bit chaotic at times. That said, the value, ambiance, and overall quality make this a spot worth visiting. With a few small tweaks—especially to service and pacing—it could be excellent.

Locale recentemente ristrutturato.

Maleducazione pura, zero coordinazione in sala.

Scritto su una lavagna all’ingresso.

Servito caldo. Abbiamo dovuto aspettare oltre metà dell’antipasto perché lo stavano "raffreddando" all’ultimo secondo in abbattitore.
