Taverna Shynok — Restaurant in Rome

At first sight everything was ok. And then it started going south. The waiter is absolutely unprofessional, doesn't have any idea what he is doing. I ordered chicken soup from the menu, fried potatoes, herring, marinated vegetables,100 grams of vodka and liver He comes 10 minutes later to inform me that they don't have chicken soup. I ordered another soup. He comes in few minutes, brings liver( main dish). I said I want soup first, he takes liver back, brings 50 grams of vodka instead of 100 and says that I was ordering too fast Fried potatoes never came. Marinated vegetables came after I finished my meal. Liver was horrible. I took a small piece and couldn't eat any more, it was as hard as stone. I asked for a check He was very phlegmatic, didn't blink an eye, came a few minutes later without a check and just told me the amount I owed. I asked to bring a check. в захованому місці в римі можна знайти чарівний український ресторан я була особливо зворушена ніжністю, щирістю і турботою людей, які там працюють я і моя подруга опинилася тут 8 березня і нас одразу пригостили келихом проссеко з ягідкою лохини, чим ми були безмежно щасливі наш настрій став ще кращим я і досі памʼятаю ніжний смак бурякового салату, я думаю він буде мені снитися також у вигляді закуски ми взяли нарізку з маринованих овочей моя подруга взяла борщ з мʼясом, єдине про що б я мріяла, це версія для вегетаріанців, бо я не їм мʼясо, але дуже хочу спробувати борщ тут я взяла вареники з капустою і вони непомітно розтанули в моєму роті як у фільми «Ніч перед Різдвом» але ще раз хочу підкреслити гостинність! із задоволенням повернусь знову (особливо, щоб зʼїсти борщ без мʼяса) дякую!

In a hidden spot in Rome, you can find a charming Ukrainian restaurant. I was especially touched by the tenderness, sincerity, and care of the people who work there. My friend and I happened to be there on March 8, and we were immediately treated to a glass of prosecco with a blueberry, which made us endlessly happy. Our mood instantly improved. I still remember the delicate taste of the beetroot salad—I think I’ll be dreaming about it. As an appetizer, we also had a platter of marinated vegetables. My friend ordered borscht with meat. The only thing I could wish for is a vegetarian version, as I don’t eat meat, but I really want to try borscht. I had dumplings with cabbage, and they melted in my mouth like in the movie The Night Before Christmas. But once again, I want to highlight the hospitality! I will gladly come back again—especially to have borscht without meat. Thank you!

In un angolo nascosto di Roma si può trovare un incantevole ristorante ucraino. Sono rimasta particolarmente colpita dalla dolcezza, sincerità e cura delle persone che ci lavorano. Io e la mia amica siamo capitate qui l'8 marzo e siamo state subito accolte con un bicchiere di prosecco con un mirtillo, il che ci ha rese infinitamente felici. Il nostro umore è subito migliorato. Ricordo ancora il delicato sapore dell'insalata di barbabietola, credo che lo sognerò. Come antipasto abbiamo preso anche un tagliere di verdure marinate. La mia amica ha ordinato il borscht con la carne. L'unica cosa che desidererei è una versione vegetariana, perché non mangio carne, ma vorrei tanto assaggiare il borscht. Io ho preso i vareniki con cavolo, che si sono sciolti in bocca come nel film La notte prima di Natale. Ma vorrei sottolineare ancora una volta l'ospitalità! Tornerò volentieri—soprattutto per mangiare il borscht senza...

Sono rimasta molto stupita da questo posto,peraltro situato in un luogo un po’nascosto e scoperto per purissimo caso,infatti voglio recensirlo subito,per condividere la mia bellissima esperienza riguardo la cena di stasera: prima di tutto si mangia divinamente,il personale è molto accogliente,gentile e simpatico e per quanto riguarda i prezzi,è il locale più onesto dove io abbia mai mangiato a Roma, considerando l’altissima qualità delle materie prime.

Abbiamo mangiato: Per antipasto -un tagliere di salumi ucraini affumicati(tra l’altro affumicati proprio da loro) per 2 persone,mooooolto buono!!!💝💝💝💝 I Primi -2piatti di ravioli : l’ uno,con lardo e patate e l’altro,con carne di vitello (Quest’ultimo strepitoso!!!!Consigliatissimo)❤️❤️❤️❤️ I Secondi Una grigliata di carne affumicata con verdure che era qualcosa di sbalorditivo per la bontà sovrumana!!!!😍😍😍😍 Il dolce Un dessert a base di ricotta e cioccolato da fare invidia per quanto era buono💝 Birre ucraine(quella scura non filtrata e quella alla ciliegia,sempre superlative) Caffè e un liquore alla ciliegia strabuonissimo di produzione del ristorante e gentilmente offertoci dal personale super gentile e accogliente🌈🌈💝💝💝💝 Avevo passato una giornata un po’ storta e invece in questo posto ho recuperato tutte le mie energie e il buon umore,ci torneró...
