German Pub — Restaurant in Sacile

This German Restaurant is a favorite among Americans and serves a wide variety of German beer and food. They have an incredibly large selection of bottled beers, including many Belgian Trappists, German Lagers and Bocks, and English Ales. There are about 6-7 draft beers that include German and Belgian beers as well.

Dishes include mixed sausages, schnitzels, many types of bruschetta, spaetzle(homemade egg noodles), pork shanks, etc. The portions are very heavy so there’s no need to order several courses like at a normal Italian restaurant. Ordered the Wienerschnitzel - it was huge but was composed of an unknown meat -obviously not fresh but just a frozen breaded cutlet fried in the fryer - the unknown meat was very thin and dark - and tasteless - the French fries were very good - thus the 2 star rating - beer was good - for 17 euro - very disappointing - this was lunch!...

Il locale è facilmente raggiungibile con l'autovettura, ma con pochi posti per parcheggiare. Internamente presenta un piccolo banco per consumazioni i piedi, ma ha molti tavoli disposti in varie zone. Ambiente adattato, presumo da un precedente locale, con nessuna velleità di essere il classico pub. per evitare sorprese credo sia meglio prenotare! Nell'insieme si presta alla serata con amici e/o famiglia. Presenti diverse birre alla spina come pure vasta scelta di birre in bottiglia. Non sono un grande intenditore, ma la birra da me bevuta corrispondeva esattamente alle caratteristiche indicate nella carta delle birre, veramente buona. Non vastissima scelta di piatti, ma i panini (diversi) mangiati da me e mia moglie erano buoni, sia come materie prime che nella presentazione. Prezzo giusto, ovvio non é un McDonald! Da ritornare...
