Pizza & Co. — Restaurant in Sacile

We wanted a dessert for takeaway, the waitress told us it was ok but went to ask the person in charge, who apparently only speaks Italian.

When this person heard us, replied rudely "oh americans" and left. Then the waitress explained us that the dessert was not for take away.

Is absurd, xenophobic and very ignorant for someone to assume that English is only spoken in US (it's spoken as an official language in 67 countries).

We are not americans, but your origin is no reason to discriminate or be rude towards someone.

I sincerely hope the ignorant person working in this place can get educated and be less xenophobic. Again, is so absurd to think that English is only spoken in US.

We have family and friends in Italy and of course not every Italian is like this, but is good to mention this absurd moment for awareness.

Our favorite go to pizza spot. Very family friendly. The staff is very nice. They provide English menus as well. We even love to order pizzas to go. The pizzas are very good.
