Update: I brought one panettone back to American to share with friends and family and they all loved it. Here’s what they said (they too have eaten “From Roy” panettone). “The bread is very similar [to Roy] But I feel like the trimming inside is more fresh and soft compared to Roys. I like it” “Panettone tastes great! So light and airy” “Yes! It’s very good! Thanks for sharing it with us!” I know I am very obsessed with this panettone but it’s my passion to share information about good food! Lol So, do not miss out! Buy one or two! Also, I knew the bakery was very good because I saw the very famous panettone cookbook in her shop😍 I hope to one day learn to make one just as good as hers! Also, here are more photos :) Btw, the whipped cream on the maritozzo was really good!!! (I went around 12pm which was too late. I should have come when they opened). ————————- First Review: So far it’s the best panettone I’ve tried in Italy. So good I am buying another one. I got the classic one. It’s a little expensive but worth it. €40 for classico (and €44 for chocolate). To compare, it’s not as good as “This is From Roy” Panettone but it’s the closest after trying some local bakeries here and in Bologna. Also, “This is From Roy” currently $102, which is crazy and greedy of Roy! I would happily buy 2 from Fermento! Plus, the space box is super cute! Also, pastries are good too but I wish there was plain croissants. (Maybe I was there too late?). Will go again today to see of there are plain ones.

Best pizza in Sacile. First, the staff have been extremely friendly since I first stepped in. The ingredients used are clearly a cut above whatever else the usual pizzeria has. They have specialty beers (even the IPA beer is good, I usually don't like IPA) and mineral water from this area. It is very much "artisanal" but not expensive for the quality of food -- the bufala cheese is the best I had ever had. Highly recommended and they are open longer and more often than most places.

L’etichetta gourmet è stata talmente abusata che basta aver superato il livello minimo della decenza alimentare, per rendere speciale praticamente qualunque cosa. L' Impasto leggero ma gli ingredienti non sempre ricercati come magari possono essere gli abbinamenti, hanno reso questa pizza al massimo, insieme all'impasto, una pizza "d'autore" che però, non mi ha entusiasmato più di tanto. Locale moderno con personale gentile. Il trovare poca scelta alle 17:00 (mi chiedo forse sono rimanenze del pranzo)per poi trovare le stesse pizze (quantità e tipologia) alle 19:00 e il non esporre il prezzo dei prodotti come previsto da legge (Direttiva 98/6/UE, recepita dal Codice del Consumo, D.Lgs. 206/2005, art. 14-17) sicuramente sono stati fondamentali per una recensione che non può andare oltre le 3 stelle.

Best pizza in Sacile. First, the staff have been extremely friendly since I first stepped in. The ingredients used are clearly a cut above whatever else the usual pizzeria has. They have specialty beers (even the IPA beer is good, I usually don't like IPA) and mineral water from this area. It is very much "artisanal" but not expensive for the quality of food -- the bufala cheese is the best I had ever had. Highly recommended and they are open longer and more often than most places.

Following the advice of what experienced travelers do, I went "where locals go" and I don't regret it, the most amazing artesanal real Italian pizza I have ever had over my life span of 50+ years.
