Group.of.friends? Check. Amazing.weather? Check. Delicious.art.on.a.plate? Check.

Quality sushi comes at a price. A price possibly more than most expect to pay. In this case, that price was being subjected to wide-eyes from my friends when my ā€œsushi boatā€ arrived. Totally worth it.

We walked last night from my friend’s apartment in the center of Sacile to Jin Sushi, a nondescript Japanese eatery close to the Piazza del Popolo. I’ve been hearing an earful from him telling my to try out his sushi place. It was good… really good.

We ordered off the menu… this isn’t an gorge-yourself-all-you-can-eat food fest. It was a I’m-better-than-that-swill-you-call-sushi restaurant. The menu is new, very well setup, and in English.

The sushi was pure art when it came out. Beautiful mounds of fish, rice, sesame seeds, fried onions, and sauce. Wow! What a beautiful presentation. The rolls were really tasty. Favorites at the table were the red tiger roll and spicy tuna rolls. Even my sushi boat had winners… my philadelphia roll was yummy and I love just the slivers of fish. The cuts of fish really showed some knife skills on the part of our sushi chef.

One bonus. They deliver! So not only can you experience sushi art in the local area… you can do it in your home wearing your PJs.

Recommended… especially if you live...

Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had!! I’ve eaten a lot of sushi in a lot of places and the variety of flavors with exciting ingredients like strawberry, mango, and papaya, next to the noticeable quality of fish, absolutely INCREDIBLE (and so beautiful)! We just moved here and we cannot wait to go back! In the states our bill would’ve been easily double so for it to be so good and so affordable, we may have an addiction on our hands. That doesn’t even include the ambience! It would be great for small group parties as they have a gorgeous space that has doors to accommodate private gatherings. The service was just as good as the food and decor, I can’t recommend this...

I went with my brother. This is a Japanese restaurant. It is very good. We started with drinks. We had wine and water. I ordered their tempura shrimp and the fried rice and it was delicious. The food is fresh and you can taste the freshness of the food. The portions are a good size. I couldn't finish mine, so I took to go and had it later. The atmosphere of the place is really nice. It's elegant but casual. Definitely recommend this place to everyone. The waiters are very friendly and multilingual so they will understand English, Spanish and of course Italian but I heard a few of them speaking other languages. Don't be afraid to go! Just go!...

Delicious! Be aware: large portions!! Our eyes were bigger than our stomachs:). The fish was fresh and the presentation was beautiful! The Hong Kong was my favorite, my daughter enjoyed the mango topped roll (oops-forgot the name!), and my son ans husband really liked the Spicy Sake (pictured). Clean and very friendly establishment- we will be back. Thank you!
