The town of Saint Vincent is a quaint village with an oversized casino, and a few decent eateries. We decided to stop by as it’s a perfect stopover on the way to lake Como / Milan if driving from France.
Came across this place as a recommendation from a friend otherwise not sure would have found it. This cosy local feeling establishment serves a mixture of pasta and meat dishes and also a good selection of cheese and meat platters. Can imagine it’s a perfect place to grab a platter and a bottle of wine and provides a perfect setting for an intimate setting between two or three. The wine selection is impressive (both by the glass and by the bottle) and the service was impeccable in spite of our lack of Italian. Food came relatively quick and portion size was generous. The beef tagliata was cooked perfectly, and duck breast sauce very meaty with accompanied potatoes crispy and plentiful. Nothing to improve on this experience...

The pasta dishes are absolutely delicious, try the pappardelle with boar or the whole wheat penne with baby spinach, cherry tomatoes and almonds....exquisite.
The breaded T-Bone steak was probably one of most succulent pieces of meat I ever had, despite barely having any fat whatsoever, not to mention the tagliata.
Service is informal but excellent, and the wine list is substantial, with plenty of options to choose from.
