Great pizzeria, one of best pizzas ever tried in my life. They let you to book, so recommend to do it as indeed it works very well. We arrived at the agreed time and no need to wait any minute, table was ready immediately. Service is super kind, waiter was explaining very well additional choices from menu. The pizzera was super nice, very beautiful decorations and tables very clean. Menu is full of different types of pizza. We took frittatina genovese, super tasty, crocche which was perfect. As pizzas, mine was amazing. A Sorrentina pizza which was delicious. As dessert pistachio Cheescake is absolutely recommended. Price right in my opinion 21 euros for frittatina, pizza, beer and dessert is comparable with other pizzerias.

An excellent pizzeria and more. We started with an insalata cetara. A superb salad with Mediterranean tuna, dried cherry tomatoes, olives and almond slivers. So good that we almost ordered a second one. The pizza puttanesca was classic and well done. We told them we would be sharing (uno per due) and they split it in the kitchen... always a nice touch. I then ordered a calzone (for the train ride the next day) and it was also well prepared. A tip if you are using Google Maps to get there. Maps took us up Via Belvedere, which puts you on the wrong side and wrong level of the building. Instead, once you cross the traffic circle and road to the expressway, head into the courtyard to the left of Via Belvedere.

I was in Salerno for work purposes a fortnight ago with two colleagues. The Madia had been recommended by another colleague who is from Salerno. I can honestly say that the pizza was the best I have ever eaten. We also had pizza at two other places on other evenings over the course of 5 days/nights, which were exceptional, but this was 'next level'. The buffalo Mozzarella and the tomato pesto was also blessed. Normally don't write reviews, but felt compelled to praise this restaurant and its pizza. If in Salerno, you must visit.
