Café Domino — Restaurant in Salten-Schlern - Salto-Sciliar

Was just walking around and saw this cafe just a little further from the busier part of town. Thought I'd give it a try and help boost their business. Food and drink were better than I expected. I tried the turkey sandwich (cotoletta) and it was understated-ly good. And the hot chocolate was excellent. (This was after my visit to Switzerland and the hot choc was out of a sachet, which they gave it to you to mix yourself. And the water/milk was not hot.) It was thick, good amount of foam, not too sweet. And hot! So, in essence, the authentic HOT chocolate.👍🏼 Despite looking like a casual bar with limited service, there was still a table service. The lady was very nice and told me that things will come to me, at the table. As I was expecting that I'd have to do everything myself (like wait at the counter for the items to be ready and bring it out to the table...

Da evitare…per la maleducazione e lo sgarbo di tutto il personale presente nel pomeriggio del primo gennaio 2023. Riusciamo ad accomodarci alle 17,00 all’esterno del locale e dopo l’ordine (fatto da noi comunicando alla cameriere le bevande scelte) trascorrono circa 50 min quando arrivano solo due bevande su 6, naturalmente rinunciamo e chiediamo il motivo, ci rispondono che hanno finito le tazze sbagliando a preparare l’ordine… tutto può accadere ma la cortesia avrebbe aiutato loro a risolvere e noi a comprendere.
