Restaurant from Nisio — Restaurant in San Gimignano

Don't visit this place!! The owner is rude and unfriendly. There are many comparable feedbacks. We asked for a table for 4. The waitress offered us a table inside. Apparently the owner went by and told his waitress that he has no space! She than sadly reported to us what her boss told her. One minute later 2 other guests arrived and ask for a table. The owner agreed and showed them their table. Really surprised I asked the owner again for a free table. Outside I saw 2 free tables and the inside was all free. Again he just answered in a rude and unfriendly manner that he has no place. Nothing more, no excuse, no smile. Just harsh he went away. Nobody should be treated like this. So spend your money in an other restaurant, where you be treated as guest. This restaurant deserves no guests. Sorry to say so. Normally I don't act like this. But I never had this experience. Even one star is too much.

Your totally right, it is better to book in advance. Sorry, we don't had the chance...I think that's also the way of life. Point one:(and this is all about) But as we arrived, your waitress offered us a table inside, you declined!? Point two. There were two open tables outside...and you offered the guest one table who arrived just after us (they also had no reservation!!!) Point three. I'm traveling really a lot all around the world and I never had this experience. With or without reservation. If the restaurant is full, I totally accept this. Normally this is done in a friendly manner. Even you could take your time for a minute, why all other restaurants doing this? So ask yourself and look to many similar feedbacks here...

Never go to this restaurant!! The service is awful! They ignore you and try to show you that they are better than you. It was the worst experience that I ever had going to restaurant!! A very long wait for the bill, you have to ask for everything. From the moment we sat down there, we were feeling uncomfortable and wanted to leave. Instead of having a nice dinner we had bad experience. Food wasn't impressive either and too expensive for what we got. I ordered chicken stew, portion was quite small and it was too salty. There is so many much better and cheaper restaurants in this area. So please AVOID...

We've made our reservation one day in advance (presently). At the day, we arrived 10 minutes earlier, but, for our surprise, there was no reservation in our name! The "owner" was almost saying the it was our fault! He was rude, unpolite, and NEVER appologised! Talking in Italian, he was even suggesting that we could leave. As we were starving and not going to drive, we stayed/insisted. The owner didn't come to our table! The food was Ok, but my steak was overcooked... Well, that was it.
