Mare Blu — Restaurant in San Vito Lo Capo

È stato il peggior ristorante che abbiamo visitato a San Vito. Servizio disastroso e cibo di scarsa qualità. Avevamo ordinato un antipasto e due piatti principali. Purtroppo i piatti principali sono arrivati solo due ore dopo l’antipasto, quando ormai non avevamo più fame. Volevamo annullare l’ordine prima che arrivasse, ma apparentemente non era possibile. Poiché non avevamo toccato i piatti principali, il cameriere ci ha offerto di portarli via – ma viste le alte temperature e l’assenza di frigorifero, non era l’ideale. Nonostante tutti gli errori del ristorante, abbiamo dovuto pagare l’intero conto. Quando abbiamo chiesto almeno di portarci via il cibo, per qualche motivo non è stato possibile nemmeno quello.

This was the worst restaurant we visited in San Vito. Disastrous service and poor-quality food. We had ordered a starter and two main courses. Unfortunately, the mains arrived two hours after the starter, by which time we were no longer hungry. We tried to cancel the food before it arrived, but apparently that wasn’t possible. Since we didn’t eat the main dishes, the waiter offered to pack them up – but with the hot temperatures and no fridge, that wasn’t a good option. Despite all the restaurant’s mistakes, we had to pay the full bill. When we then asked to take the food with us, even that was suddenly not possible for some reason.

Das war das schlechteste Restaurant, das wir in San Vito besucht haben. Katastrophaler Service und schlechtes Essen. Wir hatten eine Vorspeise und zwei Hauptgerichte bestellt. Leider kamen die Hauptgerichte erst zwei Stunden nach der Vorspeise, sodass wir keinen Hunger mehr hatten. Wir wollten das Essen bereits vor dem Servieren abbestellen, aber das war offenbar nicht möglich. Da wir die Hauptspeisen nicht angerührt hatten, bot der Kellner an, sie einzupacken – bei den Temperaturen und ohne Kühlmöglichkeit keine gute Lösung. Trotz der Fehler des Restaurants mussten wir die volle Rechnung bezahlen. Als wir das Essen dann wenigstens mitnehmen wollten, war selbst das aus unerfindlichen Gründen nicht...

Competenza,pulizia, cortesia, genuinità e bontà dei piatti non rendono l'idea della meraviglia che si trova all'interno di questo piccolo portoncino.... Da tanti anni frequento san Vito e non avevo mai trovato un posto così UNICO! Ho guardato con attenzione l'amore e la passione che i proprietari mettono in cucina per preparare ogni singolo piatto e per assecondare le richieste dei clienti,le ragazze sorridenti, disponibili e cortesi, qualità difficili da trovare a San Vito dove, in ogni posto in cui vai a mangiare, sembra che quasi ti stiano facendo un favore.... Dall'antipasto al primo è stato tutto perfetto, abbiamo ordinato un piccolo polpo da dividere la cottura era perfetta, mi è piaciuta la teoria degli spaghetti con le vongole "calati a sentimento" piatto soddisfacente sia al palato che ha gli occhi per non parlare della pancia 😂 busiate freschissime che sembravano quelle che faceva mia nonna, cous cous "incocciato" a mano, orgoglio e vanto di chi ha fatto della tradizione della propria casa un bene da condividere,la signora Palma ne può andare fiera del suo cous cous da primo premio 🥰 ho passato una serata bellissima e voglio ringraziare tutta la famiglia che gestisce il locale per avermi donato, tramite i loro piatti l'emozione di ricordare la mia bella San Vito com'era tanti anni fa... Posti come mare blu ce ne dovrebbero essere molti di più, spero solo che loro non cambiano mai il loro modo di fare ristorazione....

Average dining experience. The quantity of food was plentiful, but the quality wasn't great. We had muscles as a starter, but most of them were empty. We also had fried quid which wasn't the best, and the risotto was average. The wait staff were a so rude and miserable to us even though my fiancée speaks Italian, and the atmosphere was a bit dead. It's close to the beach, but it's not the best. There were quite a few bees around which also ruined...
