Really disappointing on all sides. We were recommended to come here by our hotel, which should have been the first warning sign. In resort towns like this, it's common for restaurants to give kickbacks to hotels to drive traffic. Fortunately they were willing to seat us without reservation when we mentioned the hotel by name. That was the high point. They take forever to get you water or bread, the head waitress / maybe owner? is very rude. They are obsessed with trying to nickel dime you if they feel like you may be "splitting" a dish and wish to charge you an extra 30% extra for splitting. Even if a couple wants 2 main dishes but 1 antipasti. Ridiculous. The dishes were just OK. Like if you learned to cook as a beginner. Not bad, but not really good either. We ordered the grilled octopus, fish couscous and amberjack. The amberjack had jarred sweet and sour sauce as the sauce on the side. We looked around us - so did every single other fish dish. Horrifying. Fish couscous was fine, not amazing. They don't have any cocktails to order, only wine and only by the bottle. If you can get a reservation at one of the better spots in town, do it. Otherwise, you'll be stuck spending your money at a mediocre establishment like this....

Entonces he estado 15 minutos mirando a mi pareja como comía.

Food was great. I recommend it. But… we came without reservation and they still accommodated us and I am grateful for that. But the whole time felt unwelcome there, they didn’t speak any English and was talking to us in Italian, we think they were rushing us to order but we were not ready! Let us scroll until end of menu pls. What they managed to say in english is “next come 30 (or 13) people”. I answered, ok, we will order 1 round of food and leave, we’ll be quick. That’s what we did. No starters, no desserts, only mains. They were good. But pls either leave us alone, or find a way (or someone) to tell us what you want from us because that was weird experience. I am your client, not some...

we had the specials for dinner: tuna in sesame crust, and "ricciola" in peppercorn crust. both were mouthwatering! we also shared a grilled squid - good (but not exceptional). service was attentive. one star was lost for the sides: we had two cherry tomatoe salads that tasted of absolutely nothing. even in the UK (where we live) we get better ones, and that says a lot. in Italy, in a region blessed with sun, that is unacceptable.

A friend recommended this restaurant to me and said to have the pesto, so I did and it was fantastic! The menu looked so good it was hard to choose my second course, but in the end I went with the beef tenderloin in a red wine sauce. Everything was excellent including desert and the service. I’m giving this a high recommendation along with the pesto, though I don’t think you can go wrong with anything at this place.

Interesting menu and the execution of it was great - great food overall! The place next to this one had live music which made our stay at the restaurant even better. The only downside is super slow service, from taking our orders to waiting to be noticed to get the receipt. This wait time, for us, really degraded the whole experience and due to it is not 5 stars rating.
