Mr. PiPas — Restaurant in San Vito Lo Capo

We were referred there by a local, good food however the service was terrible. Staff just didn’t know what they were doing, after 1 hour they realized we hadn’t got our food, after checking they claimed their order system was disconnected so they rewrote our order traditionally on paper however the waiter didn’t even bother checking with us if the order was right. As expected the orders were incorrect when the foot arrived, however, we all decided to have whatever was on the table due to being so hungry. We made several attempts to get the staffs attention which didn’t work as clearly they were ignoring us as they knew there were 7 unhappy people at their table. At the end when the bill came, they even got that wrong and the member of staffs reason for it was ‘’ I was out last night and now I’m very hungover’’. I can honestly say this was my worst Italian experience and if I hadn’t visited other side of Italy and other restaurants, I would have thought they all like this.

In short summary, food was good but...

Been here once, there were us and two other tables which of one arrived after we sat. And one was already waiting for the food. We tried the pasta, mine were very good i have to say but boyfriends too salty. The combination was not tasty for him, someone might find it good though. The food was fine, the service was ok but we only asked for watter and yet we were Charged 6€ for service. We waited 45 minutes to get the pasta, which is supposed to be ready in 10-max 30 minutes if the restaurant is full. But we were the only ones waiting for the food, not other tables before us. So overal it was medium quality of services...

Esperienza davvero deludente! Mi sono imbattuta in questo locale per caso, cercavamo un posto in cui mangiare tra i vicoli di San Vito lo Capo e ci ha attirati la "promo pranzo" (antipasto, primo, acqua, caffè, coperto incluso, 20€ a persona) di questo locale. Ci accomodiamo e quando ho davanti il menù immediatamente chiedo al cameriere informazioni sulla promo, facendo una domanda specifica: "La promo include antipasto, primo, acqua e caffè?" Il cameriere: "sisi" Faccio nuovamente una domanda: "la promo include tutto quello che è presente in questo menù?" Il cameriere risponde: "sisi". Inizia il nostro pranzo; antipasto discreto, pasta mangiabile ma inzuppata d'olio. Arriviamo al conto ... Il nostro conto doveva essere 40 euro, invece la signora mi ha fatto un conto di 74 euro, io le faccio presente della promo e lei mi risponde "che non tutti i pasti erano compresi nella promo", le rispondo "io avevo chiesto informazioni sulla promo al cameriere e mi è stato detto altro". Chiama il cameriere, lo mortifica davanti a me, il quale comunque conferma di avermi dato informazioni errate, le cui informazioni errate però erano correte per un'altra coppia di ragazzi. Morale della favola mi ha fatto uno sconto togliendo 11 euro, e sapete di cosa??? Acqua del rubinetto filtrata e il coperto (ps: nella promo erano inclusi🤣) una bella presa in giro. Non sono sicuramente io a dover pagare gli errori degli altri, non è colpa mia se tra loro non comunicano o se comunicano informazioni errate, resta il fatto che io a prescindere dovevo pagare 40€ euro, e loro dovevano farmi pagare 40€ perché l'errore è stato loro non mio. Ti invitano a sederti con una promo per poi farti pagare a prezzo pieno, vergognosi! Sconsigliato ! La professionalità...
