In regards to food and service, it would have been ‚0’ stars. Me and my boyfriend have been here last night and were very disappointed.
Service: The only friendly face and service we experienced, was when we arrived and received a seat. Afterwards nobody paid attention to us or asked how the meal was.
Prices: A glass of house wine is 5€, and was the only good experience that evening. A side salad, consisting of tomatoes and salad with brown leaves was 5€. Mama mia! The main dish prices are decent, considering other restaurants in San Vito Lo Capo (pasta dishes around 8-9,50€).
Food: There are way over 70 dishes at the menu, which is in general not a good sign for quality. The tagliatelle with scampi sauce was way too fishy and not eatable at all. The pasta seemed not to be freshly made. My dish, Spaghetti Carbonara‘ seemed to be made with cream, which is definitely not the Italian way. It was a bunch of spaghetti, cream, egg and some ham in there, no salt, no Parmesan, no pepper!
We are not very picky, but just wanted a fresh Sicilian meal in the evening and unfortunately we did not experience fresh food or a...

The star of the show, however, is the menu, built around outstanding local ingredients—above all, the Mazara del Vallo shrimp, astonishingly fresh and tender, showcased in a variety of preparations. The service is attentive and friendly, always ready to share the story behind each ingredient and recommend the perfect pairing.

Read moreI don't think I've ever eaten worse at a restaurant in my life! I could not eat it.
I ordered fresh orange juice. I got 3 dl of "juice" in a glass full of ice cubes that didn't taste like squeezed orange at all, and it tasted like they filled the rest of it with water. For 6 Eur. For comparison, I could get 1 liter of bottled water here for 3 Eur. Unreal.
The pizza I got is full of oil and watery so the dough is basically ruined. The dough is really soft like pre-made frozen pizza, so not fresh at all. And the taste... The whole pizza smelled and tasted like burnt oil!
I was there with three people and their food tasted the SAME but they ordered different food!
The service was incomprehensible, the staff didn't know any English, in a tourist centre! They had no emotions, the waiters were bored, we had the feeling that we were not welcome...
