We were denied service!! Racist!! Well, my mom and I were starving, went around the square looking for a place to sit. We saw an available table here and sat there, waited. A waiter passed by and said ‘you cannot sit there’. I asked if they had available tables, he just ran away (the table we sat at was a small one, for two-three). After a few minutes, a manager/owner, not sure who he was, cane yelling, screaming and waving with his hands ‘this is a restaurant, this is not a highway, you can’t sit there, it’s reserved, that table is reserved (no card on the table saying so), you have to get out of here’, I said it doesn’t say anywhere it’s reserved, he says ‘bye bye’, along with some other words screaming from his little mouth. We sat at another restaurant near the marina, without anyone screaming at us. Needless to say we were two women, I was shaking for hours, and I was furious! Everything could have been resolved calmly if he just came to our table and explained instead of screaming at us in front of other people. It was our first day in Sanremo and I so hope we will not get screamed at again, because this was...

The night I went it was busy but there was plenty availability. I was seated at the same time as 2 ladies, and ordered before the third member of their party showed up. Got my glass of wine and water, fine. Then sat there and watched as my neighbors ordered, got their pizzas, and ate half their pizza. Checked my Google timeline and my watch. When it got to be over an hour of me sitting there, I just left. Thanks for the glass of house wine I guess. Not like I was ever gonna pay for that after being ignored. Yeah, I could flag someone down but my Italian is non existent and let's be honest, I should...
Read moreEXCELLENT! My husband and I were on vacation in Italy last week. In Sanremo we were looking for the best pizza in town and we were recommended to go to Sessantuno. Although it was Friday night and the place was packed, they immediately find us a table, no wait at all. IT WAS INDEED THE BEST pizza ever. My husband ordered the 4 cheese which was perfect, light and delicious. I ordered my favorite Margherita and it was amazing. The dough light and tasty, the sauce just perfect like eating ripped tomatoes, amazing. When in Sanremo it is a must place to go. The staff treated us like royals even offered a delicious Limoncello at the end of our meal. I wish we had a pizza like...
