Ristorante Trattoria Da Filippo — Restaurant in Santo Stefano di Camastra

We got stuck at the train station after the last train back to Palermo was cancelled. We had no way home and it was 23:00. We were 2 adults and 5 kids. We went into the restaurant and asked Filippo for help in very broken Italian. He went through his handwritten phone book and found a friend who had a taxi. He picked us up and took us all back home. Antipasto pessimo. Al suo interno spiedini di calamari e polpettine di pesce surgelati( acquistabili in ogni supermercato) serviti freddi. Alla mia lamentela mi è stato risposto 'soni comprensivi dell antipasto freddo'. Peccato che i surgelati pre-fritti citati precedentemente vadano riscaldati al forno o in friggitrice e non debbano essere serviti scongelati. I primi, discreti e abbondanti, sono stati l unica nota 'positiva'. Peccato che i secondi consistessero in gamberi surgelati cotti al forno su fette d arancia ( pessimi) e un fritto di pesce ( surgelatissimo) contenente calamari gommosi e stracotti. Giuro di aver mangiato solo per fame, se non fossi stato in giro dalle 6 del mattino sarei scappato via. All offerta di un sorbetto finale, io e la mia consorte, temendo il peggio siamo scappati dopo aver pagato 90 € ( prezzo esageratissimo per la qualità del cibo servita) PS. a seguito della critica riguardante gli antipasti serviti ghiacciati(benché i pre-fritti vadano cotti) la signora che ci ha serviti ha continuato a chiedere in tono ironico se le varie portate fossero alla giusta temperatura. (Ovviamente un comportamento del genere non è carino.) Purtroppo sono stato fregato dalle recensioni positive. Spero di aiutare...
