Awful experience - not to be repeated. We booked a table in advance (2 days earlier) for Wednesday evening, however as soon as we arrived we discovered that the person who had taken the reservation had made a mistake and had marked our reservation for Thursday. Instead of apologizing, the maitre rudely questioned whether I had called in advance, to the extent that I had to show her the call history on the phone, a level of rudeness I've never experienced at any other restaurant before. At that point, having recognised their mistake, no solution was offered to us, except for a table that was left empty inside (we had specifically booked outside as the only positive thing about this place is the location on the sea). When we declined, we were rushed away with no apology and no courtesy whatsoever, telling us to come back the next day as our booking had been incorrectly booked for the following day. This caused us great inconvenience and we had to revise our schedule for the evening and the following day of holiday. When we arrived the next day, we were treated with appalling disrespect, greeted with giggles and jokes because we had rightly pointed out our disappointment the previous evening. Despite the lack of professionalism already demonstrated by the incident, we were still surprised that not even a minimal symbolic discount was given to us after the great inconvenience that was caused to us, but on the other hand courtesy and the basic rules of hospitality are to be forgotten in this place. The fish dishes were tasteless and not very fresh, and what's more we had to eat them surrounded by swarms of wasps. Also, I had trouble digesting my food throughout the night.

Ho prenotato con delle amiche con 2 giorni di anticipo. Giunte al ristorante ci viene comunicato che la prenotazione è stata segnata erroneamente il giorno successivo. Di fronte a ciò, con grande scortesia, è stata messa in dubbio la nostra chiamata e abbiamo dovuto tirare fuori il telefono e la cronologia e mostrare quando è avvenuta la chiamata per la prenotazione. Nonostante l'errore evidente, non abbiamo ricevuto scuse ma, al contrario, una soluzione improvvisata, ovviamente non a livello di quello che è stato prenotato. (L'unica cosa bella di questo posto è che si trova sul mare e abbiamo richiesto un tavolo con vista) Quando abbiamo rifiutato siamo state invitate velocemente ad uscire per non fare recepire agli altri clienti quanto fosse successo, il disagio comportato, senza un minimo di scuse, di cortesie e quella che si chiama Educazione. Essendo qua in vacanza e non in loco questo fatto ci ha creato parecchio disagio, come ad esempio il mezzo di trasporto e abbiamo dovuto rivedere e riorganizzare tutti i piani. Il giorno seguente ci siamo nuovamente presentate al ristorante. Sono rimasta allibita dalla situazione. Siamo stati accolti con "ah, deduco le ragazze di ieri" ovviamente detto con ironia e risate da parte della maitre e del personale. Una volta giunte al tavolo, per rincalzare la dose della maleducazione e del disagio è stato aggiunto, sempre ridacchiando "sei ancora inquieta?"

Ora parliamo del servizio e del cibo. Per quanto riguarda il servizio direi pessimo. Eccetto un cameriere praticamente nostro coetaneo che purtroppo è arrivato al tavolo una sola volta, che sa svolgere il suo lavoro come si deve, che ci ha fatto sentire davvero delle clienti, per il resto direi tremendo. Giunte al tavolo siamo state inondate dalle vespe. Oltre al fastidio, ciò che ci preoccupava era la presenza di una amica allergica gravemente. È stato portato tra due tavoli una tazza con caffè che bruciava. Purtroppo non era sufficiente. Alla nostra richiesta di avere una seconda tazza ci è stato detto "Non è necessario" Anche questa risposta mi ha scioccata e abbiamo dovuto invitare caldamente il personale affinché ciò venisse fatto. Spero che anche i nostri vicini di tavolo lascino una recensione perché anche loro, con una ragazza allergica, si sono trovate nella stessa situazione di disagio e ne discutevamo insieme.

Cibo. Io e una delle mie amiche abbiamo ordinato entrambe la fregola ai frutti di mare. Nulla di che. Poco saporita e con i frutti di mare misurati in entrambi i piatti: 1 gambero, 2 cozze, 3 vongole.

Abbiamo anche ordinato un piatto da 20€ di fritto misto che non valeva minimamente il prezzo.

Per concludere: nonostante il disagio provocato non abbiamo avuto nemmeno un minimo di scuse ma continui commenti come "non possiamo farci nulla". La serata è stata orribile, non mi sono mai trovata così male e non a mio agio in un ristorante e non ho nemmeno mangiato bene.

PS: voglio sottolineare che il problema non è l'errata acquisizione della prenotazione che considero un errore assolutamente giustificabile ma bensì la maleducazione, la prepotenza e l'arroganza di tutto...

I'm normally very forgiving with food and service, as most Irish people are. In essence we will not complain unless either is very bad. Both were bad here.

We felt and were rushed. My partner ordered spaghetti alla vongole and 80% of the clam shells were empty. The portion size was tiny. I admittedly make a mistake in ordering duck, it was way over done. Like eating leathery steak. We didn't receive our bread and olive oil until we were nearly done with our main. As I was finishing up my salad my partner was approached to take her plate, then mine was taken. I felt pressured to be finished even though I wasn't. We were then asked if we wanted coffee, when we said no we were left with the bread basket alone, no butter or olive oil. The waiter proceeded to hover over us as we finished our wine making us...
