Very rude staff. Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. It was a Saturday night. We were queuing for one hour waiting for a table, but seems like other Italians that managed to skip the queue to find a waiter would be seated right away, instead of being sent to the back of the queue! It was the most frustrating wait but eventually we were at the front of the queue, were sat outside and asked what drinks we wanted. The waitress made no eye contact and acted like she was about to scream at us. She banged a bottle of water on the table which almost fell over with the force. I get the impression that staff are stressed and unhappy which is a sign of poor management. I’ve read some of the reviews after coming back home and seems like the management can’t take any feedback or criticism and snaps back at bad reviews, which actually proves how toxic the work environment must really be. We had an unforgettable dinner at Le Magnolie during our stay in San Teodoro. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by Diego, who turned out to be an exceptional host. He personally introduced us to the freshest fish of the day and guided us through the menu with genuine care and enthusiasm.

The food was absolutely delicious – beautifully presented, full of flavor, and clearly made with love for local ingredients. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and everything ran smoothly throughout the evening.

To top it all off, there was live music, which created a truly romantic atmosphere under the Sardinian evening sky. What really stood out, though, was Diego’s personal attention – his hospitality made us feel truly special and added a personal touch to the whole experience.

I’ll start by saying that the food at this restaurant is one of the best I’ve had in San Teodoro, the ingredients are fresh and incredibly tasty. However, the service on the particular night I went ruined my experience. We were a table of 5 people, we ordered two appetizers, five mains and three sides. The appetizers took 45 minutes to arrive and some of the ingredients were inconsistent with those listed on the menu. After we were done with the appetizers one of the waitresses asked if we were ready for dessert as at this point we had been sitting for over an hour. When we informed her we had not yet received our mains she seemed flustered. 4/5 mains came together, the other was brought out 10 minutes later. The sides we had ordered to be eaten with the mains were not brought until after we were done with our food and with the help of another reminder.
