Located in the old center of Sarzana, this easy going restaurant/pub offers a wide selection of beers (must try the “maledetta”), both Italian and international at a fair price. The food is absolutely to be considered as good value for money, for which I would strongly advise trying the “sgabei” option, that comes together with a huge plate of salami and stracchino. Mi sono fermata a cenare qui con il mio ragazzo dato che l'ambiente ci sembrava carino, ci hanno fatto accomodare subito all'aperto e l'ordine è stato preso quasi immediatamente. Sfortunatamente solo per l'acqua e la Coca-Cola abbiamo dovuto aspettare quasi 15 minuti, per avere un cestino di sgabei invece abbiamo atteso 40 Min, l'affettato aveva preso troppo caldo ma gli sgabei erano ottimi, belli caldi. Per un hamburger e un piatti di gnocchi al pomodoro avremmo atteso altri 20 minuti. Del panino abbiamo dovuto scartare il pane perché era freddo, mentre gli gnocchi alla sorrentina sono stati avanzati perché sembravano prodotti da supermercato. La cena è stata veramente deludente, il tutto contornato dalla confusione dello staff di sala. Ho lavorato anche io nell'ambiente di sala, me posso comprendere che ci siano giornate più impegnative di altre ma non è ammissibile che ne debbano risentire la qualità del cibo (scadente) e il servizio al tavolo (approssimativo). Die Pizzeria Paddock hat uns absolut begeistert. Das authentische Ambiente in der charmanten Altstadtgasse, begleitet von jazzigen Klängen und klassischen Melodien aus den städtischen Lautsprechern, schafft eine Atmosphäre, die man sonst nur aus italienischen Filmen kennt. 🥰

Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und spricht sogar Englisch – perfekt für internationale Gäste. Die Bedienung war blitzschnell, und wir fühlten uns rundum willkommen.

Kulinarisch? Ein Traum! 🍕 Wir hatten die Pizza Thunfisch mit Zwiebeln, Pizza Diavolo und Calzoni Diavolo – alles hervorragend zubereitet und geschmacklich einfach Spitzenklasse. Und das italienische Bier dazu war die perfekte Ergänzung. 🍺
