San Sebastian — Restaurant in Sassari

The restaurant looks fine, prices are quite good, it is open on Sundays. Unfortunately we had a bad experience. We have ordered pasta with beef meat and pasta with safran, guanciale... It looked well but the taste and smell was bad. Beef meat tasted like from can or just rotten. Guanciale was dry, burnt, no sign of safran smell/taste, just smell of a very used old oil. Although staff was friendly and they excused, they also didn't admit any mistake on their side. Waiter suggested that maybe there was a problem with taste of pechorino. But sorry, I know how unique is the taste of pechorino and I love it. I had pasta with pechorino the very same day... We didn't want to pay any of pasta but after a bit of arguing we did pay just one of the pastas and I was not much happy with that. It's mostly the simplicity and freshness of ingredients which makes Italian cuisine so famous... Without freshness...

Not the best experience. I was impressed by the reviews so we took a stroll from the center to the restaurant.

The restaurant is located somewhere in between huge buildings not really a cozy place to eat. Besides that it hot between these buildings even if you sit outside. No ac inside.

The service was ok not really special, or enthusiastic/happy that there were guests.

Locale localizzato vicino al centro di Sassari, ben arredato e moderno. Ideale per organizzare qualsiasi evento, ma anche per una cenetta romantica. Il personale è disponibile ed è anche molto gentile. Il menù è bello ricco ed offre una vasta scelta di piatti e pizze con prezzi leggermente al di sopra della media. Offre anche un menù per celiaci ed è tra i pochi ristoranti della città ad offrire questo servizio, il menù è identico a chi non è celiaco. Molto buone le pizze, hanno anche delle pizze speciali con il cornicione ripieno. Si tratta di un locale molto di tendenza tra i sassaresi per questo motivo è sempre meglio prenotare almeno un giorno prima per avere la sicurezza di avere un tavolo. Mi raccomando, bisogna rispettare l'orario di prenotazione perché se si arriva più tardi di 15 minuti il tavolo viene ceduto anche senza che il personale chiami all'interessato per chiedere la conferma della prenotazione, nonostante alla prenotazione spesso richiedono un recapito telefonico per...
