Golden Bar — Restaurant in Savona

I don't like to write bad reviews, but that experience was amazingly bad. First off: Be cautious when German tourists suggest anything - they tend to have bad taste. Going there after a long day at the beach was certainly not the best of ideas, the apperitivo were quite good, but not why we went there. IF you decide to call your establishment a restaurant you should be able to provide hot food. After being unpleasently surprised that no fish or sea food was available, I ordered Carbonara... you guessed it - can't do those (prolly forgot to buy cream or w/e). Some might think a QR-reader-ONLY-menu innovative and enviroment-friendly, but with the electricity wasted for mobiles and data transfers in that way a paper menu would be preferable (and it seemed quite lazy). Me and my wife were visiting Savona from Australia and know very little Italian and we went to this lovely restaurant they didn’t speak much English but they were so friendly and helpful and tried very hard to understand what we wanted. We both ordered a pizza which was absolutely incredible we loved it and then we had this delicious cake with chocolate sauce and cream can’t fault the experience. Staff were friendly and helpful, food was absolutely delicious and price was reasonable if we are ever back in Savona we definitely would visit again and I highly recommend...

Pessimi!!!

Ogni tanto mi è capitato di frequentare questo bar in settimana di pomeriggio senza aver mai avuto problemi: bar fornito e la signorina che serve ai tavoli sempre gentile.

Aimè domenica scorsa decido di pranzare una cosa veloce presentandomi al bar verso le 12:50 , non faccio in tempo a sedermi sul tavolo che la cameriera di turno, diversa dalla solita, sbraitando mi dice che per il pranzo non c'era più tempo che avrebbero chiuso da lì a breve e che poteva farmi solo un caffè. Sconsolato chiedo almeno di poter prendere una delle focaccacine esposte al banco ricevendo per fortuna risposta positiva. Quindi mi vado a sedere al tavolo con una focaccina ed un bicchiere d'acqua tristissimi, peccato che da li a poco vedo passare la cameriera con un vassoio pieno di formaggi salumi e quant'altro per una coppia arrivata dopo di me. Come se non bastasse le cameriere si urlavano a vicenda di continuo, davvero un pessimo spettacolo.

Servizio pessimo, cameriere antipatiche e senza un minimo di gentilezza in un periodo come questo che si dovrebbe essere contenti a lavorare di più, lquidano la gente in due secondi. Evidentemente non hanno bisogno di lavorare, buon per loro, ma allora che vendano la attività a persone che hanno voglia fare.
