A Brazilian I know brought me here for a lunch date one day and told me the food was very typically Brazilian and true to the country and culture. I was pleased to discover I like Brazilian food after dining here - not that this is the fanciest of places, but it gave me a rough idea of what their cusine is like. The owner couldn't have been friendlier with us, and we were conversing in three different languages between the three of us which was fun and a unique experience.
While the owner is Italian, he apparently lived in Brazil for many years, and then came back to Italy and opened this great place. Inside, everyone who has frequented the "bar" has written a message on the walls with a Sharpie marker. I also got to participate in the tradition, and my name is now on a wall in Savona.
