Amazing! The food, the staff, the location. Looking over the panorama square of Sciacca with a view on the harbour, cozy both outside, on the covered glassed-in terrace or inside. Based on 3 intelligent menus (one of which VEGETARIAN, hurray), this young and creative team, 6 months into their job, blows the guest away. Fine use of local products, but with great variations on the local fare - this is where to go when you’ve had enough pasta allo scoglio o a la Norma. Don’t expect big dishes, don’t expect heavy use of spice. This is more about texture, the original tastes of vegetables, fine use of raw scallops on a cauliflower risotto or raw pulpo tagliatelle with fresh green pees. They have a great road ahead of them - join them while it’s...
Read moreCannot recommend this restaurant. Dishes seem nicely prepared but taste-wise, everything from snack to secondi was incredibly disappointing considering the appearance and prices, so much so that (very unlike us) we didn’t finish any dish in fact. Service was very cold and rather unhelpful; for example, we were promised the sommelier who - after three requests - never came (does this person even exist?), and we ended up ordering a random bottle to have something to drink. No one ever apologised. Sad. Unfortunately, the nice sea view didn’t make up for everything. You’re probably better off sticking with the warm and delicious (and unpretentious) local family-run restaurants...
Read moreI have no idea what kind of restaurant this is, but they will not help you! I have been sitting here for almost 1.5 hours, and I still haven’t received any food. They haven’t even served a glass of wine yet.
Almost 2 hours later, we finally received the main dish we ordered, but it came without any sides.
If you’re looking for a restaurant that treats customers the way they should, please avoid this one. It’s unbelievable how poorly this restaurant treats its customers!
Take a wide detour if you happen to be in the area! Best wishes...
