Response to owner’s response: My card shows the bill was paid at 20:18, so your claim that we arrived after 20 mins is such a lie to all. We came, we explained and saw your rudeness, we chose our pizza and paid for them by 20:18. Now guess when did we arrive at your restaurant. I leave it to you. How I didn’t show respect to you, I didn’t get it. Is it by not calling to cancel but buying pizza even after your rudeness? Or what? But Bravo Gabi for your response and justifying your anger. Glad to know you would be similarly rude to others regardless of nationality. Thanks. God bless your business.

Initial review: No doubt one of the best pizza in Siena. Booking is essential. But be aware of rudeness of the person in the counter - it might come to you. Yesterday 13/10/224 we had a booking for 6 people (4 ad 2 kids) at 8pm. Our child was not well and we waited till last minute to check if we could make it. But she was too sick to go. We felt sorry for that we had to cancel the booking but we realised it would not be good for their business, so planned to take away the pizza from there. As soon as I show up at La Veranda and explained that we would take away because our child was sick, the person in the counter became so furious why we didn’t call to cancel. I explained the whole issue but he was so loud and shouting and it was so embarrassing for us. We eventually ordered and took more pizza than we would have needed. While waiting for pizza we also saw some people showed up without booking and they allocated our booed place. After picking pizza, i told him you could be behaving well understanding our reasons and our intentions and this was unfair. He never felt sorry for his rude behaviour and just gave us the impression just get lost! I wonder if we were Italian he would behave such and that clearly indicates how racist he was! I know my words might not have any impact on them since they have a great business ongoing but really hoping the business owner understands the fact and do needful to improve communication to...

Our host recommended La Veranda as the best pizzeria in Siena, and we were not disappointed. The spacious, modern space can host quite a few people, but despite it getting crowded with locals a bit after we arrived, the service was still great. First, we tried from the appetizer list the slow cooked pork, which was delicious, the salmon with an interesting blueberry sauce, and an assortment of fried vegetables. What is great about them is that you can order in tasting size, and sample a wider variety of dishes. We tried three different pizzas, two with DOP mozzarella (one of the best I’ve tasted), one with prosciutto and the other with cherry tomatoes, and the third with white sauce, mushrooms and sausage. Pizzeria situata nella parte nord di Siena vicino all'uscita di Siena Nord... a 5 km dall'uscita si può trovare questo locale situato in una zona in cui purtroppo non sono presenti in molti posti auto disponibili per la sosta L'insegna è molto semplice Il locale però all'interno si presenta molto molto accogliente arredamento moderno con alcuni aspetti simpatici come le scritte su dei pannelli di Lavagna in gesso che indicano Motti molto simpatici sull'alimentazione. il servizio è stato buono ragazzi è stata molto disponibile ci ha servito anche in modo abbastanza rapido i cibi sono veramente buoni i prezzi sono leggermente sopra la media ma devo dire che la qualità essendo veramente elevata meritano appunto di pagare un prezzo un po' più alto e avventure della sera in cui sono stato io presente erano per il 60% giovani per l'arresto famiglie coppiette e alcuni turisti che stavano aspettando il posto disponibile. la pizza che ho gustato era veramente buona cotta tipica alla napoletana con forno a legna col classico cornicione gli antipasti erano che classici toscani buoni gradevoli in partirò modo la finocchiona e da apprezzare. consiglio vivamente una visita a questo locale perché la qualità dei menu è veramente veramente buona in alcuni casi direi ottima.. la fornitura di birre è abbastanza completa in linea con altri locali consiglio la birra Dolomiti per il suo gradevole aspetto e per la simpatica chiusura della bottiglia. per concludere tra gli aspetti positivi della puntualità degli ingredienti e i piatti tre aspetti negativi Purtroppo la possibilità di parcheggiare in prossimità del locale non è molto facile trovare posti disponibili io sono arrivato intorno alle ore 20:00 è già i posti scarseggiavano..
