We were not impressed by the gelato. The melon tasted too sweet and artificial and the fig flavor tasted more like rum with nuts and no figs apparent in the flavor. We asked for clarification, since we weren’t expecting nuts in the fig ice cream and the waiter was rude and condescending. Apparently that’s what it was supposed to taste like.

The village of Solverato has many other places that serve great Italian gelato but this place wasn’t up...

Gelato: blend flavours that don't taste better than artificial ones. The fichi flavor is mixed with some other ingredients so it basically tastes like a rum creme. Waiter was pretty rude and condescending when I asked for clarity on why the figs tasted alcoholic. Haven't tried the pastries, they did look pretty good at...

Una stella in piu solo perché ha un Locale superiore gradevole e con una "quasi" vista mare..ma prevalentemente domina su un rudere abbandonato. (meglio andarci di sera..credo si veda meno..il rudere) Ma è un posto "monostellato" innanzitutto per il gelato mediocre a mio avviso. e per il servizio scadente e poco professionale. il cameriere che ci ha servito al tavolo confabulava con un collega in dialetto ma per sua sfortuna..."chi ssacciu chi fannu chissi" si è capito molto chiaramente. Parlava di noi? Chissà..il dubbio rimane. Incredibilmente con il gelato ci servono 1 bottiglietta di acqua (liscia,temperatura ambiente con bicchieri di plastica)a pagamento.. le altre gelaterie te ne offrono un bicchiere anche se prendi un cono al bancone. Consiglio altri locali, dove i gelati sono più buoni, (e credetemi! Ce ne sono tanti da queste parti) e dove cortesia competenza e rispetto per il cliente non sono caratteristiche...
