Al 24 — Restaurant in Spotorno

Strolling through the beautiful old town of Spotorno we stopped at the entrance of this restaurant, because it sounded familiar. I saw the reviews on TripAdvisor and was curious, if this could withstand our experience. The entrance is very small and can give you the impression that the restaurant is very small, but if you go inside, there is a huge and lovely garden at the backyard. The service was very friendly and we could choose English or Italian menu. The meals are at the higher end of Ligurian cuisine, so if you expect common meals, you better go to a pizzeria. We ordered a variety of meals, for example, pasta with mixed seafood, grilled fish salads, appetizer. Each one of them was delicious even the wine from a very special place in Liguria was amazing. I would say if you want to fine dine in Spotorno with friends or family you should definitely put this restaurant on...

LOCATION 9/10 : Very nice restaurant located in the center of the city. It has a very large and nice internal garden, where you can enjoy your lunch/dinner outside.

STAFF 9/10 : nice and friendly staff always careful to your needs and ready to help you in choosing wine or dishes.

QUALITY OF FOOD 10/10 : fish was great

PREPARATION OF FOOD 9/10 : from appetizer to main course and dessert all the dishes were good and tasty. I really liked all of them.

TOTAL 9/10 : everything was very good, food, service, location. It is for sure one of the best restaurant I tried...

Peccato Bel locale, sulla via pedonale principale, ingresso carino; struttura molto particolare, con pianta molto allungata (decine di metri) e giardino con tavoli. Bagno non degno del resto del locale: pulito ma davvero stretto e arredato come in una pizzeria da poco. Atteso 15 minuti per poterci sedere al tavolo. Ordinato e atteso 80 minuti (un'ora e venti!) per avere gli antipasti. Finiti gli antipasti, con ormai il locale semivuoto (molti gli abbandoni per l'attesa) ci è stato chiesto se si poteva dare il via ai primi (perché i piatti non partono mai prima della fine della portata precedente). Attesi altri 25 minuti per i primi, gli antipasti anche se lenti erano buoni e lasciavano sperare, poi purtroppo i primi sono crollati in qualità con degli spaghetti annegati nell'olio e un tonno scottato - bruciato. Antipasti con porzioni misere, si veda in foto (tranne, inspiegabilmente le cozze). Alcune ragazzine a un tavolo sono andate a prendersi un gelato fuori dal locale aspettando il servizio. Tra il personale c'era più che tensione, sono volati urli mal celati da cucina e tra i camerieri, diversi vetri a terra a fine serata per bicchieri rotti in tre tavoli diversi. Caffè e amaro più sconto di 3€ offerti per ripagare l'attesa. In conclusione bella location ma prezzi alti e attesa indecente.
