Civico 18 — Restaurant in Tèmpiu/Tempio Pausania

We just had lunch at Civico 18 and it was an excellent experience! I had a hamburger, and my husband ordered the tagliata di manzo — both dishes were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection.

The hamburger was juicy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, served in a fresh bun with just the right balance of toppings. Every bite was satisfying!

My husband’s tagliata di manzo was beautifully grilled — tender on the inside, slightly charred on the outside, and full of flavor. It was served with fresh arugula and shaved Parmigiano, which elevated the dish even more.

The dishes were fairly priced and worth every penny — great quality ingredients and generous portions.

I love steak (go to steakhouses often). Don’t let the unassuming outside of this place stop you from getting one of the best cooked steaks out there. Temperature-wise, I haven’t had a better medium rare steak in any steakhouse. The flavor was there, and the potatoes on the side were fantastic. Tutto ci aspettavamo tranne che un pasto del genere. Entrando sembra un piccolo pub o una sorta di pizzeria di paese, non troppo chic ma funzionale. Il menù ci é subito apparso brutto e scarso e senza niente che ci facesse dire wow (se non alcune particolarità del menù del giorno). Non avevamo aspettative troppo basse ma pensavamo che per provare qualcosa di davvero buono avremmo dovuto cercare altrove. Abbiamo ordinato della carne, verdure grigliate e funghi trifolati e subito abbiamo capito che c'era qualcosa che non andava. Era tutto eccezionale: prodotti freschissimi, saporiti, abbondanti. Siamo rimasti a bocca aperta ed è un problema quando si mangia. Allora, dopo aver appurato che mai avevamo mangiato carne così buona, abbiamo pensato di ordinare un tiramisù per capire se fosse solo una fortunata coincidenza. E anche il dolce è stato sorprendente.
