La Gallurese — Restaurant in Tèmpiu/Tempio Pausania

Wow, what a find in this little town we found on a journey through. The snails were the best in the world while the ravioli with spinach was a great primi. The sheep meat in sauce was excellent and was just ahead of the simple grilled pork chop. What flavors. The Pana Cotta was perfect as was the cheese plate, getting honey on the side. The bottle of red wine Oliana, was very good too. To top it all off was friendly service and a bill just over 100 Euro for way top much food. We found Tempio and this restaurant by accident, and it was a very fantastic accident! Our honeymoon vacation was an amazing experience also thanks to this restaurant and its food. My housband nearly cried from joy eating one good dish after another! We had amazing dolce ravioli (this is a must), Zuppa gallurese was better than in an another restaurant, we had nice pasta with semolina mash, sweet and sour pork, and Lamb ... Wir sind heute zufälligerweise an dem Restaurant vorbei gelaufen und fanden es von außen sehr ansprechend. Da es auch in unserem Reiseführer gelistet ist, haben wir es am Abend gleich ausprobiert. Wir wurden freundlich begrüßt und in die 1. Etage geführt. Dort standen ca. 10 bis 15 Tische, von denen eine halbe Stunde nach Eröffnung keiner belegt war (Sonntagabend). Der Speiseraum war optisch nicht sonderlich ansprechend, ansonsten aber in Ordnung. Wir haben jeweils Spaghetti (first dish) und Fleisch und Gemüse (second dish) bestellt. Die Speisen waren mittelmäßig und nicht sonderlich nett angerichtet. Es kam uns so vor, als wäre der Kellner nicht begeistert darüber, dass wir vorerst nur einen l Wasser bestellten, welcher in einer Plastik Flasche serviert wurde. Während der Mahlzeit schlängelte sich der Kellner an uns vorbei, um sich selbst ein Glas Wein einzuschenken und es auf ex runter zu kippen. Naja soweit so gut, wir sind in Italien. Dass er dann aber beim abräumen selbst das komplett vertrocknete Brot aß, welches noch in unserem Körbchen lag, machte keinen guten Eindruck auf uns. Dies wurde übrigens in einer Menge für 6 Personen und ohne Öl o.a serviert. Während wir aßen, stand der Kellner des Öfteren vor dem Getränke Kühlschrank und starrte uns an. Im Großem und Ganzem haben wir uns eher unwohl gefühlt und waren dann doch froh, als wir das Restaurant verlassen haben.
