Pizzeria "da Giannino" — Restaurant in Tarvisio

We recently visited Pizzeria "da Giannino" and I must say we were impressed by their excellent Italian pizza and perfect service. I highly recommend this place to all pizza lovers.

Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and seated at a comfortable table. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and professional. They paid full attention to us, and our needs were quickly and efficiently taken care of.

But the best part was yet to come in the form of pizza. Their pizza was truly amazing. The crust was thin, airy, and perfectly baked. It had a beautifully thick edge that was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Every bite was incredibly tasty and filled with authentic Italian flavors.

The ingredients used were fresh and high-quality. The cheese was creamy and full of flavor, the tomato sauce was perfectly balanced, and the herb toppings added a distinct taste variety to the pizza. I had the opportunity to try several different pizza variations, and each one was prepared perfectly.

Excellent and very good price! The service was very fast. The place is not particularly friendly but then you come there to eat 'quick, good and cheap' so I don't mind. We took a Spaghetti Ragu and Pizza Zingara which was perfectly allright. I am not a big fan of black olives as it is not natural but that's the way it was. As a dessert I took a Tartufo Nero. Dark chocolate and an espresso was just perfect, at least for my taste buds.

The only little hiccup was the toilet. Being in 2024 I did not expect to find a hole in the floor...

Meine Familie und ich haben uns einen schönen Tag in Tarvis gemacht. Da darf der Besuch in der Pizzeria da Giannino auch nicht fehlen, wie schon seit 20 Jahren! Wir betraten das Lokal und fragten einen Mitarbeiter ob wir in den Wintergarten gehen können. Wir waren 5 Personen und der einzige Tisch mit mehr als 4 Stühlen war mit einem Reserviert-Schild versehen. Nachdem auch kein einziger anderer Gast im Lokal war, schoben wir 2 Tische aneinander damit wir alle Platz haben. Anscheinend war das jedoch nicht mehr gestattet. Eine Angestellte startete wie ein Drachen in den Wintergarten und gab uns mit einem sehr unfreundlichen Ton zu verstehen, dass die Tische hier nicht umgestellt werden. Wir sahen das natürlich ein und stellten die ursprüngliche Ordnung wieder her. Danach entfernte Sie das Reserviert-Schild auf dem anderen Tisch und verwies uns mit einem sehr patzigen Ton dorthin. Danach "klatschte" sie uns die Menükarte vor die Nase. Auf ein provozierendes "Danke" reagierte der sie mit Motzereien. Wir fragten die Kellnerin ob es nun irgendein Problem gäbe?? Daraufhin fing der Hausdrache an uns anzugehen und wurde richtig laut !! Wir verließen das Lokal sofort. So etwas habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt!! Man darf nicht vergessen, dass das immer noch eine Dienstleistung ist!

Herzliche Gratulation liebe Pizzeria da Giannino, ihr habt es geschafft Stammgäste die seit 20 Jahren gerne und oft zu euch kommen, zu verscheuchen! Es wäre sehr angebracht eine Nachschulung im Punkt Freundlichkeit zu machen. Wir werden diese Pizzeria zukünftig...
