eh...it was an unlucky choice to pick parmigiana di zucchine. i left hungry, but with 16 eur less in my pocket. i originally went for gnocchi , but there was none, so i quickly picked parmigiana. as i m a cyclist and need calories, a pasta with meat would have been way better. funny that a parmigiana zucchine where there is only veggies and cheese can have such price. such product i would price it max 9 eur. when paying, i commented to the owner. they are certainly nice people but not on the ball enough to comprehend what to...

Il locale ha la classica impostazione da trattoria "povera", ma non è un difetto, anzi! Calda e accogliente con tanto di stufa e fuoco a vista che coccola anche il cuore. Rientravamo dalla sfilata dei Krampus di Pontebba e volevamo mangiare qualcosa di tipico delle montagne. Abbiamo chiamato per prenotare un tavolo verso le 19:40 al che ci é stato detto che la cucina alle 21 avrebbe chiuso. Strano. Arriviamo, ci fanno accomodare ma nel locale c'erano solo due famiglie che avevano praticamente terminato di cenare. Ci siamo sentiti un pó fuori luogo, ma probabilmemte in montagna é uso cenare presto. Chiusa questa parentesi ci siamo dimenticati del contesto una volta che ci sono stati portati i piatti in tavola. Degli gnocchi di patate con ragù di cervo che erano a dir poco favolosi. Come secondo: cervo in salmí con polenta (credo fosse questo il nome del piatto) e anche questo era fantastico. Abbiamo dovuto chiedere il bis di pane per pulire il piatto. Come ultimo, per coccolarci, una porzione molto abbondante di strüdel fatto in casa. Buonissimo. Giusto il tiramisù è risultato un pó sottotono rispetto al resto. Forse un pó troppo piccola la porzione. Consiglio vivamente a chi cerca una cucina tradizionale che ricordi i piatti della nonna. Non ho messo 5 stelle solo perché ci siamo sentiti un pochino soli. Non amiamo il caos o il troppo brusio, ma una via di mezzo risulta piacevole...

Grauer Novembertag -Treffen mit Geschäftsfreunden um 14:00 Uhr Parkplatz nur für Gäste gut besetzt aber sofort einen behindertenparkplatz gefunden. Eingang über die Terrasse vorne ein kleines Cafe mit Bar, sehr viele lokale Geschäftsleute die ein Apero oder einen Espresso nehmen. Man geht nach hinten durch und kommt in ein typische italienische Lokal, sehr schön und gemütlich, gemischtes Publikum von Lokalen Leuten und Villacher Geschäftsleuten. Kleine Frische Karte es gab Nudeln und Gnoccchi in verschiedener Zubereitung. Fettuccine mit Wildhasenragout (TOPQUALITÄT), Nudeln mit San Danieleschinken (Ein Traum) und BUCHWEIZENGNOCCHI in Gorgonzolasauce (hatte ich in der Qualität noch nicht gegessen! - Sensationelle). Bedinet wurden wir von einer Angestellten und der Wirtin es geht alles sehr flott und extrem freundlich. Natürlich waren alle mehrsprachig. Eine Athmosphäre wo man sich sofort wohlfühlt!! Mein Nachbartisch hatte Pizza eine riesenportion und Holzofenpizza von TOp Qualität. Getrunken haben wir TOP Hauswein. Das ganze zu einem lächerlich günstigen Preis. Kein Wunder das soviel aus Österreich hinfahren. Werde bei jedem Besuch in Tarvis zum essen gehen und das nächste Mal auc genügend Zeit mitbringen.
