Ristorante Pizzeria La Focaccia — Restaurant in Terracina

I would start to say that if I could I would rate the place zero! Staff didn’t seem to welcoming when we entered the premises. We asked for a high chair together with the table next to us: after 10 minutes staff brought only 1 chair and said: “you can sort out who is going to have it as we only have 1”!!! We then ordered a “fritto di paranza” but they didn’t have it so we opted for some fried squid, prawns and anchovies as an entree. When the 2 entrees arrived we all thought that the portion seemed extremely small. We didn’t say anything. In a few minutes a table next to us ordered the same dish therefore I asked the waiter if that was a portion for 1 or 2. They confirmed that that was a portion for 1 and I asked why that was the same size as ours when we ordered 2?!? The owner came out and said that he was going to make another one for us. When I asked for the bill I noticed they charged us for the extra portion which was offered to us as we initially asked for 1 and only paid for 2. They refused to take the charge off the bill and we had to pay for something we never received. I can’t say that customer service was poor as there was No customer service at all. Terrible expérience. We arrived around 8 pm Ordered arrancini as starter Gnocchi and pizza as mains with a side of eggplant Gnocchi arrived first after a while. Then after another while we got the eggplant side dish. Then at 9:15 pm i decided to pay and leave, as the pizza was finaly arriving. I decided to leave anyway seeing the arrancinis of the newly arrived table next to me. To add to the insult they tried to charge for the ghost arrancini and the pizza, wich i refused. Во время Феррагоста в Террачине был наплыв туристов и найти где-либо свободное место было крайне сложно. Во время первого посещения этого заведения даже при наплыве туристов ожидание в самой очереди было недолгим. Столики в ресторане стоят очень плотно и посадочных мест много + имеется открытая терасса на втором этаже. Ожидание заказа (пицца, салат, вино) около часа... ну решили, что это из-за наплыва посетителей и пиццу делают не из заготовок, а по факту заказа. (пиццу выпекают в печи с дровами). Чаевые уже внесены в чек, не на усмотрение клиента, а принудительно ;) Через несколько дней, когда салюты Феррагосты смолкли и туристы разъехались, проходя мимо этого заведения не увидели привычной очереди перед входом. Решили зайти. Заняли столик подальше от входа, но появился старший гарсон и сказал, что тот столик зарезервирован и потребовал сменить место, пересадил нас к самому входу. Я попросил друге место, ввиду того, что в зале имелись свободные места плюс совершенно пустой второй этаж. Гарсон сказал, что всё зарезервировано и типа сидите там, где вас посадили. В этот момент в заведение зашла небольшая компания, которые протискиваясь между столиками цепляли наш стол... потом зашла ещё небольшая компания и всё то-же самое... при этом по разговору среди посетителей не уловил, что они делали предварительную резервацию, но им было предложено выбрать места не на проходе. Мы с женой встали и ушли. Гарсон начал нас догонять с вопросом, что не так. Я ему сказал, что меня не устраивает место, он в ответ говорит, что ок, пересаживайтесь куда хотите, я ему ответил, что я его об этом просил дважды и он мою просьбу проигнорил, на этом - баста.
