Caffetteria Piansa — Restaurant in Terranuova Bracciolini

Found a great lil cafe for lunch while driving thru the Italian countryside. And it was conveniently located right off the highway.

Had the sweetest waitress who spoke excellent English! And she was awesome; explaining every dish with her personal recommendations. And she even found gluten free options for my wife ! Everything tasted fresh and delicious. The portions were not the largest, but it was enough for 3 out of the 4 of us — I was still hungry so I ate more afterwards.

Entire meal for 4 of us only came to 40 euros (4 entrees, 2 “Italian pastry” desserts, 3 ice creams, 4 ice tea cans, and 1 cappuccino) 🙃 We definitely plan to return again next time we come through this...

Great wine! 6 red choices. 4 or 5 white choices ( not a white wine drinker ) myself, but all the red choices were excellent, especially for the price. Happy hour 5 to 7. Excellent free food for customers. Spreads, pate's, olives, cheese, etc. I especially enjoyed the spreads on crostini and the olives. Quite honestly it put a large expectation on the Ristorante we went to later. Highly recommend this place. I wish they had places like this...

Ci siamo fermati in questo posto di ritorno da un viaggio, offrono il servizio di pranzo veloce, la scelta è limitata a due primi ,due secondi idem per i contorni .abbiamo preso la pasta alla norma e entrambi i secondi proposti polpettone (bonroll non un polpettone casalingo) al balsamico e petto di pollo agli agrumi contorno di carote e spinaci porzioni abbondanti ,con coperto acqua un caffè e due dolci che abbiamo portato via abbiamo pagato 34 euro e qualche centesimo prezzo giusto cibo accettabile...
