We visited this restaurant based on the recommendation from local person.

The food was super delicious, the beer was unique and a restaurant space was really nice. The only reason for the lower score was the service.

The service doesnt speak english and we had a problem to order our meals or water. But this usually might not be a problem as we all have our hands, smiles, menu list and patience to understand each other if both sides want. Unfortunatelly, we didnt feel that from waiters (except one), they tried to communicate with us as less as possible and so were not helpful.

For locals, they dont have such a problem and might rate the restaurant at 5/5 level, but foreigns can feel the difference. The next table with other tourists had very similar experience.

But to summarize it, the kitchen and meals are definitely the reason to visit this place. With better service this might be an excellent restaurant for all. I wish the restaurant all the best, we still...

We had a recommendation for Casa Kbirr from our hosts at Villa de Cillis Carafe. We were greeted by Gigi and Cheero at the unique and beautiful restaurant. We asked for suggestions and were treated to a stunning and delicious meal. The meal started with meatballs in tomato sauce, a slow cooked beef covered in bitter Italian greens and tomato sauce, and a delicate tempura zucchini flower filled with ricotta cheese. The second course included a layered eggplant tomato and cheese dish drizzled with cream and two croquettes of spinach and cheese covered in honey. Un bel ristorante, locali ben arredati con interni in stile retrò ed un simpatico plateatico semi-aperto che solo grazie al buon utilizzo dell'architettura usata per strutturare questa sala, si mette in secondo piano il fatto di essere affacciati su di un parcheggio. Comunque, una cucina che presenta piatti classici della tradizione napoletana, dalla genovese alla pasta e patate con provola, piatti a base di pesce o altri di carne ed alcune pietanze rivisitate o nuove, presentate con idee innovative ed interessanti. Simpatici e di buon gusto gli antipasti come la palla di casa Kbirr, un bocconcino di provola ripieno di un buon sugo di crema di parmigiana che viene sapientemente impanato e fritto, discreti invece i fiori di zucca ripieni (avrei preferito un ripieno con una ricotta meno ruvida, un po' più morbida), buone la alici m'buttunate. Commento non particolarmente positivo sui primi piatti provati: Spaghetti con le vongole e Spaghetti alla Nerano; secondo me dovevano essere scolati un po' meglio, infatti era evidente che la pasta veniva dalla stessa bollitura e questo è normale, visto che per entrambi i piatti si trattava di spaghetti, però un amante della buona cucina non deve accorgersene, (anche dalle foto si evince che è acqua sul fondo del piatto, non condimento); insomma non si deve lasciare muovere una critica come quella che ho fatto nel momento in cui ho provato entrambi i piatti! Inoltre, i due diversi condimenti non davano quella differenza di sapore che alla fine è necessaria, come se non fossero stati mantecati abbastanza. Spero si tratti di un incidente di percorso, inevitabile una valutazione negativa per un piatto "scialbo" che ha un rapporto costo/valore non coerente e se chiedi quanto chiedi per un piatto, "nun può sbaglia"', oltretutto anche per il fatto che da quello che si dice, i manager del locale vogliono far passare il luogo come un ristorante all'avanguardia dei sapori. Anonime le birre artigianali. Un particolare menzione invece sui dolci: veramente buoni.
