I tried my best to order, even though I don’t speak Italian, only English and a little Spanish. She got so irritated that I used one word in Spanish hoping that it would be close to Italian. I wonder what that says to people that speak Spanish if they really do accept everyone from around the world, claiming to be so “accepting.” The young woman with light brown hair appeared irritated and made us feel unwelcome, so we decided not to stay.
Their previous reply doesn’t match the actual interaction. It’s unfortunate to see such defensive storytelling instead of simple courtesy, especially since similar concerns appear in other reviews. I quietly spoke to my wife about how they appeared to be rude , and I’m half Italian myself, so I understand what real Italian hospitality feels like and that’s not to be found here.
