Trattoria All'Isola — Restaurant in Treviso

Fantastic seafood in a lovely restaurant. We went for Sunday lunch and as it was a warm day we opted for the cooler indoors, although the outside terrace looked inviting too. Really friendly waiter who talked us through the menu, recommending the branzino which was the freshest of all. We asked for the house special (platter of uncooked fish) to share, and it was delicious, at least eight varieties. Washed down with a new prosecco we'd not tried before, and all for a very reasonable price. Walked it off with a stroll around the neighbouring park! So, the quality of the fish is very good. Good quality fresh food. The cuisine is so so, meaning... Some courses are quite good, but the pasta dishes are very bad. Really need to do some training on how to make seafood pasta, but pretty good on other courses, and then again, the quality of the sourced fish...

It’s worth the long walk if you are around Treviso. We had difficulty to find a good place to eat oysters. I think this is the best place in Treviso if you’re trying to find raw fish.
