Interior is very light and white, positive.Stuff were polite. We were waiting for 1 appetizer around 30 min and for the main course 1hour because there were just 2 waiters.money savers! We saw that one man didnt like the meal which he got and he returned his meal. Food is served in a bit sophisticated way ( but not completely sophisticated).Porsions are not big and they dont have special tastes. I can not say that food is really bad ( for comparison what is really bad,I mean pizza with bad pastry or some meal where important ingredients are not done in the right way) but food dont have special and good taste. We have ordered one appetizer like Gabriele M. who made comment before and posted a photo with those raw fish. My main course were fettuccine with pistachio and raw tuna.It was tasteless. Like cooked pasta with olive oil where they separately fried 1 min a bit of tuna with pistachio. My husband have had a black rissoto with ink of cuttlefish. It was very little rissoto and was served in a flat plate. It was almost no fish and was not enough ink.But served with a piece of gold folia. I am eating it very often when I visit Dalmatia ( season for cuttlefish is feb- march) and this rissoto is very black with so much ink that you look scary while you are eating it..and with a lot of fish. This is a real rissoto. And for the information,we are travelling a lot and visiting restaurants with really good food which has special taste. So,if you are one of these people, you will not like this restaurant. In Trieste sophisticated restaurants are not good at all. There are few reasons for this.Just visit normal restaurants with traditional food. These ones are good. I see that the owner like to read our comments here and to thanx those ones which are positive and which he likes .If you are reading it,show that you are a charachter and at least when you seenwhich are not the best comments for you ,at least say sorry,we will do our best in the future to improve.Real people do like that.Because, customer is always RIGHT! It is the first lesson in...

We were recommended this place by our food tour guide, and unfortunately it fell way below our expectations. Horrible service. The food was average and absolutely not worth the price. My squid with potatoes and peas came in a tasteless brown sauce- the squid was completely unseasoned and had a rubber texture.

The service was absolutely disgraceful- it took nearly one hour before our table received their drinks and the young man who was serving us at the beginning simply did not come back for 20-30 minutes and when he did, he forgot our order or ignored us until we called him out. We only received bread after about an hour and we noticed our server leaving the restaurant quickly without even telling us there was a new server coming. What a joke! At least the lady after him was much friendlier, however she also often forgot what we asked for. Crazy because the restaurant was not even busy when we arrived, and we made a reservation. Seems they are clearly understaffed.

The only saving grace was the pasta- but when you come to a high-end seafood restaurant expecting quality fish, it’s a terrible feeling that your main dish is completely subpar.

To top it off, the silverware was dirty and there were flies in my drink when they served it. We will not...

We ate here last night, recommended by my sister. Let me say that I couldn't be happier, the restaurant is very nice, the service was excellent, all the wait staff was welcoming and professional. Now the food, we started with an appetizer, zuppa di cozze (mussels soup), it was absolutely delicious, you could taste all the flavors, the mussels were very fresh, you could taste the sea in them! Every flavor was very balanced, nothing overwhelming. Our main dishes were both pasta, we got the paccheri with scampi and the linguine with mussels. Both dishes were very well prepared and presented. The paccheri with scampi (that are very different from shrimp) were delicious, and the combination with the stracciatella di bufala was surprisingly fresh and well balanced. The same can be said for the linguini with mussels and guanciale, it was a really good combination, the crispness and saltiness of the guanciale was a very good contrast to the softness of the mussels. In the end we left very satisfied and we absolutely recommend...

Leaving not so lovely comments is not my favorite thing to do. However, I also would like to share my experience so that the restaurant may take some of the feedback. I have to say that the atmosphere and the set up of the table are very inviting and lovely. The service is nice and friendly. However, they forgot to bring the water when we asked for another bottle so I deduct one star ⭐️. The food looks incredible. The presentation of each dish is very nice. But I don’t think the taste of each dish is my style 😭
