Doppio Malto Torino — Restaurant in Turin

We chose Doppio Malto Torino for dinner on a late arrival to the city, wanting something close to our hotel that wasn't traditional Italian fare. The good reviews on Google Maps gave us high hopes, but unfortunately, we cannot share the same positive experience.

From the start, the service was incredibly bad. It felt like no one wanted to take our order, and when our food finally arrived, one of the main dishes was completely forgotten. No one came to apologize or acknowledge the mistake.

The food itself was equally disappointing. The portions were small, and the quality was very poor. The hamburgers and chicken were not good; the meat was undercooked. When the forgotten salad finally arrived, it was not fresh and unappetizing. The sauce for the chicken was a simple sauce.

Overall, this was easily the worst food experience we've had in Italy. The combination of very bad service and poor food quality was a huge letdown. We would not recommend...

Had an opportunity to visit one evening when visiting Torino for business. Not too far from the city and a good choice to hang out with friends, families and colleagues 😊

Technically one of my initial restaurants in Torino and was impressed by the variety of food, good service and courteous staff.🫡👏👏👏

Wine was excellent and the food with candle light to be warm. Authentic Italian food was first time and was endorsed by my Italian friends was superb.💕 Beers 🍻 we’re of good quality and the food as well - pizza 🍕, burgers 🍔, cheeses 🧀 was delicious 🤤…Toilets 🚽 were also neat.

Desert was scrumptious and so are the last Sardinian Shots ❤️

The food was good and a good variety of beer but the service leaves a lot to deserve. We waited for more than 10-15 minutes to be acknowledged at the entrance while the waitresses walked Infront of us constantly. They were fast at coming to get the order but was a bit rude with not much consideration of customer care. Only interested to write down what we were saying with no eye contact at all. It looked like the girl was obligated to serve us. The same girl we happened to see and hear reprimand a colleague of hers Infront of everyone. Very rude and with no consideration of others and especially the colleague. I like to go places where the food is good but also the people are nice or at least try to look like they care for the service, clients and coworkers. At least infront of...
