Senmi — Restaurant in Turin

Overall, a good sushi restaurant. There are things and ideas that could be improved. For example, sometimes the waiter just comes and takes your plate while you have not finished yet, I do not like this behaviour. Also, I did not understand why the cream cheese in the plates was below the sushi or food. It just stuck in the plate, what is the point of it? I want to eat it right not leave it in the plate. If i tried to stick it to the sushi, the sushi just destroyed. Please fix this idea. It is so counter intuitive and also costly for you because you are just wasting it and customer that wants to eat and enjoy it, can not do so without destroying the food and makind a mess. Overall, good food. Also Pesto in my opinion is a bit non welcoming in sushi. I do not like the taste of pesto in salmon especially. Not my cup of tea. I did not see any beef plates. Upon entering the restaurant, the first thing one notices is the atmosphere. Most surfaces are glossy black, with lamps, lightstrips and infinity mirrors on walls and ceiling. Very unique and well made.

Beyond this, the ordering system is a web app to use on your smartphone, that already has the table number and offers a wide selection of sushi to choose from.

One very appreciated aspect is how fast the staff will bring your order once you've placed it. We had our first round ready to eat within minutes after ordering, and it's possible to track the order status from the smartphone. The web app could use better translations though.

The staff are very well organized, which says a lot, considering how busy the restaurant looks.

I’ve been to many sushi places, but this one is definitely my favorite so far. I’ve been coming here for the past two years, and it never disappoints.

The sushi is always incredibly tasty, with top-quality fish that’s fresh and full of flavor. There’s a wide range of options to choose from, so it’s easy to find something new to try each time. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality, and the service is consistently excellent—staff are kind, attentive, and the food comes out fast.

The interior is clean and beautifully decorated, creating a warm and modern atmosphere. It can get a bit noisy and crowded, but that’s just a sign of how popular it is. Totally worth it for the experience and the food....
