This was an amazing find and first meal in Carloforte. The kitchen is run by one pizza man and two delightful women that serve and take care of the customers. My Italian was terrible but they were patient with me and my two boys. The farinata was light, tasty and not what I would have expected from a chick pea pancake. Siamo arrivati da Gisa perché eravamo curiosi di assaggiare la famosa farinata di Carloforte. Da Gisa è una delle pizzerie più famose e gettonate di Carloforte, dunque volevamo assolutamente provarla. Siamo arrivati verso le 19:00 e c'era già una fila piuttosto lunga. In questo locale è possibile ordinare la pizza al pezzo margherita, rossa senza mozzarella e la farinata. La signora che taglia la pizza e la farinata e prepara i vassoi è molto gentile e ci ha preparato una porzione di pizza con margherita, una di pizza rossa senza mozzarella e due porzioni di farinata, una da portar via e una da mangiare subito appena sfornata. Inutile dire che era veramente buona e nella sua semplicità merita veramente di essere assaggiata.
