The worst restaurant experience in Italy ever. ( just been all over this wonderful country for the last 10 years). The interesting experience starts with a wine list with a totally redicoulus pricing of mediocre wines. We simply stated if they could not provide good local wine for 10 E a litre we would find a restaurant that can, and they responded that of course we could have local wine for 4E per 0,5 Litre. The disasters started when the 12 E bisstecca was served, totally inedible and of course we were a little bit surprised that the grilled vegetables were served some 10 minutes after the meat. Another surprise was that it is actually possible to fail on grilled vegetables as well even in Italy where the vegetables usually are excellent. If you make the effort of cutting and drying the veggies two days in advance it is actually possible to produce vegetables with the taste and texture of old soles. We did not even dare to see if they could insult us with bad coffe so we just left. Please do not eat here. No service, no one that can cook and all wrapped in a price tag that is redicoulus. WORST...

Needless to say he ate his side after he had finished his meal. The food was nothing to write home about, lacked seasoning, and for 45€ we wished the cooks had put a bit of passion into it. The waiter acted as if he was doing us a favour when taking care of us. I don't usually like leaving bad reviews but this was not a very good...

Jokes aside, a couple of things: the pasta a la carlofortina is not as good as it seems. Rather take the pasta with pesto and lime which is great. For the rest, the antipasti di mare / tonno are excellent, the primi and secondi are terrific in all menus, except perhaps for the fritte (which are just, well, fried stuff).
The service is very nice and we had a very good time (a group of 20 people mind you - all plates hot and well made). The "vino della casa" was good as well. Just dont expect the coffee in menus: it is not written in there...but you can always ask nicely and it...
