We arrived in Udine late and hungry, hoping to grab lunch before a rugby match. After wandering around, we found Losteria, only to discover the kitchen was closed. But then Michi, our Italian "zia," stepped in and saved the day! She quickly organized everything, and in just 20 minutes, we were enjoying the most incredible lasagna of our lives, along with delicious focaccia and more.

Michi’s warmth and care, combined with the cozy atmosphere, made Losteria feel like home. Her top-notch service turned a simple lunch into an unforgettable experience. We’re even thinking about a return trip to Udine just to visit this gem.

Delight from start to finish! 🥰 The restaurant is tucked away in a quiet little street with an adorable terrace that creates a relaxed atmosphere. The food is excellent – flavorful, well thought out, and just right. The staff is outstanding, extremely kind and genuinely friendly, making you want to plan your next visit right away. Very home-like, nice ambience, extremely attentive and friendly staff, food very good for the most part - some slightly more experimental dishes on the menu. Most of them were successful, but there were a couple slight misses, such as olives added to try to balance a dish but they made it a bit too bitter.
