TOURISTS: If I could give 6/5 I would!

Hidden gem of Viareggio, this wonderful restaurant resides in a nice little corner of town and features a great variety of delicious meals and local flavors.

The family business offers great service and even though English capacity is limited, we understood each other with smiles, sign languages and words from each other’s languages haha. Very nice and attentive staff that wear masks and follow covid safety guidelines and regulations.

Best wine I’ve had so far in Italy with their red selection of the day. 3€ for a nicely sized cup of something that paired wonderfully with the food selection. Now we are talking!

Pasta portions in Italy tend to be on the smaller side from German and American perspective, but not here. Very generous portions of pasta and even sea food.

Great attention and detail. They cut the meat and debone the fish for each customer by their table with utter care in a notably skillful manner. Simply wow.

Our family of 5 (3 teenagers) really enjoyed our meal. We speak English and my husband can only speak a small amount of Italian. We were able to communicate with our waiter just fine. Abseits der Touristenpfade liegt dieses kleine, charmante Restaurant, ein echter Geheimtipp! Das familiengeführte Lokal überzeugt nicht nur mit einer warmen, einladenden Atmosphäre, sondern vor allem mit seinem unglaublich freundlichen und herzlichen Personal.

Das Essen ist einfach fantastisch. Wir waren gleich drei Mal dort essen und jedes Mal restlos begeistert. Die Speisen sind frisch, liebevoll zubereitet und voller Geschmack. Man spürt, dass hier mit Leidenschaft gekocht wird.

Da das Restaurant nicht sehr groß ist, empfiehlt es sich, vorher zu reservieren, um sicher einen Platz zu bekommen. Absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die gutes Essen in entspannter, authentischer Umgebung...
