The place was really nice, and the food was good. But there was a young staff member at the café we had just sat down, and we were still settling in, putting our bags down when she suddenly came and asked what we wanted to order.

I turned to ask my dad what he wanted to drink so I could tell her our order, but he didn’t hear me because he was busy with something else. So I politely told the waitress, “Can you please wait for two minutes?” and she said “OK.”

Then, a few seconds later, my dad said (in a loud voice), “I want a cappuccino.” She clearly heard him, but instead of taking the order, she replied, “You said two minutes, so I’ll come back after two minutes,” and just walked away! That felt really rude.

I didn’t literally mean exactly two minutes — we hadn’t even looked at the menu yet or decided what we wanted. She rushed us before we even had time to settle.

The rest of the staff were kind, welcoming, and professional, but I don’t know what was going on with that lady. I didn’t say anything bad to her or treat her badly. She honestly ruined my...

Very Disappointing Experience Would Not Recommend. We visited this café on July 12th and unfortunately had a very unpleasant experience. To start, the service was terrible. The staff were extremely rude and unhelpful throughout our visit. The food was also disappointing — particularly the mortadella sandwich, which oddly tasted like fish. Another major issue was the language barrier. The staff barely spoke English and seemed to intentionally avoid trying to communicate with us, only speaking in Italian. When we tried to ask for the rest of our coffee order which they forgot to bring they completely ignored us. No explanation, no apology, nothing. We had plenty of time before our flight and had hoped to enjoy a nice brunch here, but this visit left us frustrated and disappointed. We definitely won’t...

I travel thorough this airport 3 or 4 times a year and whereas this used to be a lovely stop once upon a time, with every year the service gets worse. Today I sat down at a moment when almost nobody was there and the waitress purposely waited for another couple (who arrived several minutes after me) sat down. When I made eye contact she showed me she knew very well I had been sitting and waiting for her for a while well ahead of this couple.. and out of spite she stood there waiting to serve them ahead of me while they arranged all their bags and she cleaned the table for them.
