in one word: UNPROFESSIONAL The service at this restaurant was awful. First, there was a very bad smell inside. We were waiting for our friends and for 10 minutes nobody even cared to come and ask us if we needed a bottle if water or some drinks. Finally, I asked about their wine and cocktails. The owner said I know you are used to a student life style and cheap restaurants! but we are a classy and professional restaurant and we don’t serve cocktails. I told him that he should be respectful to his costumers and he said he didn’t say or do anything wrong. And then in the most disrespectful way he said “what do you want? A cocktail? I’ll mix wine and lemon and some other things”. And then he left. Then they forced us to order even though we were still waiting for our friends. They said they wouldn’t bring the orders to the table and they just wanted to prepare the food (there were only 4 or 5 tables!) Obviously, they brought the orders right away and then told us to wait for our friends. The appetizer plates were brought to the table altogether and they asked us to pass them on to the next person. we ordered wine and they brought us an open bottle twice. SO MUCH FOR A PROFESSIONAL RESTAURANT. I ordered Ghorme sabzi. It did not taste like what I am used to but maybe it was because it was vegetarian. The Barg kabab was too dry. And the Kuku is nothing even close to kuku and when I asked they started explaining some nonsense to me acting like I didn’t know anything about food. The only good thing was that one of the people who I think was from the kitchen came to apologise for the owner. It was definitely not his fault. I would have left the moment the owner started to be rude but we were there with our friends and they wanted to stay. I will never go back to this most PROFESSIONAL...
Read moreBeautiful veranda with view of river, super friendly and welcoming owner who has lived in Italy for 40 years, and delicious, fresh Iranian dishes. The owner explained that they use less oil than most restaurants, keeping the food more healthy. The cuisine is a mix of basmati rice and skewers of different meats and very creative vegetable dishes. Delicious!
We tried the set course for two people so we could try many dishes. I lived in London for 3 years in the past and miss this cuisine. So happy to have found it in Bologna!
Try this restaurant. You...
